There is no easy solution to this.
Either you can replace the parts that are worn or you learn where the marks should be and make the best of it, have you contacted Indesit direct about the problem? this really should not happen on an oven just 2 yrs old.
You can probably print off a copy of the original detail for reference from www.indesit.co.uk, parts can be obtained from www.4indesit.co.uk
Hope this is of some help.

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you. That's because I have exactly the same problem. Did you ever discover how to fix this problem?

Tips for a great answer:
SETTING THE TIME OF DAY
Step 1 Make sure all oven controls are turned Off.
Step 2 Check the electricity supply to the cooker is turned on.
Step 3 When switched on the display will show 0.00 and the Auto symbol,
Step 4 Press & hold in both the Cook Period & End Time buttons together.
Step 5 With the Cook Period & End Time buttons still held in, press either the "+"
or "-" buttons to set the correct time of day.
Step 6 Release all the buttons simultaneously.
