I have a cyberpower 550VA. The battery side is not working, the other side is. What should I do?? jmazepa@comcast.net

your ups cannot get enough power from the outletreplace the battery of your ups 12volt 7ampere reset the small breaker. when it still turning off test the continuity of the small breaker and the cord to plug use a multitester.

A faulty reset button. They are usually spring loaded. Replace the push button as it is stuck.

Why is cyberpower 550va output voltage only 80 volts? Battery underload is 12+.


Check your voltage meter, so it measures correctly, probably generate your UPS is not pure sine wave, but a modified sine, then the simple measuring devices to display the wrong value.

Battery Back-Up not coming back on after power outage. Charged for several days without anything plugged in with trip button pushed in. Surge side still working. No beep light or anything on battery...


Does the unit have a breaker on the back? There may also be a fuse. You should be able to find a users guide on the CyberPower website.

If the unit may have failed during the power outage.

My Cyberpower 550VA keeps turning off. I can turn it on, and it will stay on for maybe 2 seconds, and then it turns off again. Any solution?

It will not stop beeping when i play video games. As soon as i alt tab the beeping stops. This problem is driving me insane.


Your battery backup needs replaced.
When you fire up a game you draw more power
Your back up is not able to keep up.

One side of my Cyberpower 525SL stopped working. When i press the red button the green light comes on, but goes off quickly accompanied by a beeping. The TV, dish, and vcr/dvd continues to work. Help...

The reason for the issue that you have right now with your Cyberpower 525SL is a bad battery. This means that some of the battery relay's component or relay has failed. You may contact the manufacturer if it's still under warranty. If not you may check this site they do have battery for your machine.

Sounds like the inverter has an issue, maybe a short on the output or it can't get enough power from the batteries to run.
Generally these device are not repairable, and if they are, it could cost more than a new replacement unit. Depending on age, your batteries may need replacing. Check the battery voltage if you can. They'll either be 6 or 12 volt gel cells. Sometimes old batteries after a heavy usage, won't come back to life (take a charge).
