Question about Garmin GPS
Garmin give a free update if a map update comes out within 60 days of the first time your satnav accesses satellites so if you never turned it on you should be entitled to a free update. If however you did turn it on and it accessed satellites, even though you didn't use it to find directions, you may not be.
Details of how to update your maps are at http://www.fixya.com/support/r5628920-update_garmin_satnav_maps
If you're entitled to a free map when you click on "Get Update" you'll be brought to the download page.
If you're not entitled to it free you'll be brought to the payments page. Otherwise the procedure is the same.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
