You want to make sure that this movie is encoded to work on your psp.
you can transfer the movie to a psp memory stick to watch
if you do not have the movie encoded for your psp
you can download
http://www.pspvideo9.com/
and re-encode the movie to work on your psp

Hi,

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

What exactly do we need to do to transfer dvd's to our psp

As far as I know you'd need a program to rip the dvd to a computer. Then convert it to a compatible format for the psp like mpeg. Transfer to your memory stick and there you go. The program I use to rip dvds is called dvdfab. Would be easier for you to just download the movie from the internet in a suitable format and put it on the memory stick, but it's illegal to download movies!

HOW CAN I TRANSFER A FILM FROM MY PC TO MY PSP MEMORY CARD?

you deffinately need to get the transfer disk and cable it comes in a kit for like 15 to 20 bucks its really reasonable you can buy it from best buy and circuit city even walmart might carry it then you download the software it comes with to your computer after the downloads complete restart your computer attach the transfer data cable to your usb port on the computer and then plug it to your psp then on your psp there in the menu section go to search for network and a folder will open then from there your downloaded movies and games and pictures and music can be sucessfully added to your psp. you also might want to look into some of the many homebrew apps games and movies there better and work more efficently on the psp. hope this helps.

I have transfered movie files onto the memory stick in my psp how do i retreive the movies on the psp to watch them? i cant find them in the menu on the console?

There are three parts to this.

1. Movies should appear on the "Video" portion of the PSP's menu. If they are not:

2. The movies were not properly transferred. It's important to note that PSPs will only play MP4 format video files. If the movie you moved to the PSP is not an MP4 file, it will never appear on the PSP video menu.

I have transferred a few movies to PSP, but I never ripped them myself. I have the following software package from ImToo. It rips the movie, converts it to MP4, names it properly, and transfers it to the PSP for me:

http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-to-psp-suite.html

3. If you have already ripped the movie as MP4 and it's not showing up in the video section, here's what you have to do:

Connect your PSP with PC, and copy those two files into "H:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01" (where "H" is the drive letter of your PSP). Re-name your files in PSP. You must re-name them to "M4Vxxxxx.MP4". There would be five random numbers followed "M4V" and the two letters should be capital. The numbers must be same for two files. This is quite important, or your file can not be played on PSP.

I dont know how to get a movie playing

you have to use an MP4 converter.

then just create a new folder in the root directory named MP_ROOT, and then make a folder called 100MNV01 in there. So your .MP4 files should go into E:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01, where E:\ is the drive letter of your Memory Stick

Hope it helps

Sony psp

1) Plug The USB Cable To Both The PC And PsP. 2) In The 1st Menu On Your PsP, Enable The USB Connection. 3) Go To My Computer, And You Will See A Folder Under Removable Storage, (For The PsP) Open That, Open The Folder PSP, and create a folder called "MUSIC" 4) Copy Your Music To That Folder. It Goes the same for a card reader aswell, because your PSP acts as a memory card reader. and you can also put movies in the video file but the video format must be mp4
