May not be THE solution, but try turning your refresh rate in you video settings down to 60hz
to do this right click somewhere on the screen desktop
left click properties click settings tab click advanced click monitor tab there should be a screen refresh rate dropbox
select 60hz then apply

If your auto adjusting message box appears and you cannot choose exit button to close it, you may need to check the button on the monitor, make sure it is not in the pressed state. This has nothing to do with your Windows XP. To check the problem, you can turn your computer off and turn your mointor on, if it is still there, meaning it is a monitor hardware problem.

The message is being created by the monitor not Windows. The only thing you can do is look for the option to disable it on the monitor's menu options. NEC-brand monitors will have something call "Onscreen Notification" which you can disable. Hopefully your BenQ will have a similar option.

Good luck!

In my windows xp the software window size is different. Vertical size in left and right is different.

Hi there.
What you need to do is to adjust the vertical placement of the screen "picture". This can be done directly on your monitor/LCD screen.
The method of adjustment is depending on the type of monitor/LCD screen.
Try to press buttons on the monitor an determine how to do.

This means, that your operating system is not set to the recommended resolution of your monitor. Your monitor has a "fixed" resolution where the image will look best. You can change the solution in Windows XP if you right-click on a free space of your desktop, then choose "Properties". In the new window, that comes up, select the rightmost tab. There you can use the slider to adjust your resolution. Just try some different resolutions until the message disappears. If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7 you can access the resolution window by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting "Screen Resolution".

1) Monitors do not care what operating system you are running, otherwise I wll not br able to fix the monitors if I need to have all the operating system installed in my PC or MAC. You must have correct driver for the video card installed in the your PC.
2) What message are you getting on the screen?
3) User manual: http://retrevo.com/support/Acer-X193W-Monitors-manual/id/7197ag005/t/2/

I am looking for a monitor driver for Windows Vista for LT1919

Windows XP and Vista should "auto-detect" the capabilities of this LCD screen.

If not, access http://WindowsUpdate.Microsoft.com
and scan for updates.
When the scan is done, look for "optional hardware" updates.
If Microsoft has a driver, it will be offered for download.

AUTO ADJUSTMENT LOCKED BOX FLASHES ON THE SCREEN ALL THE TIME.

Depends of what seems to be a problem.
If you want to get rid of that message box, appearing by itself, then probably you need to take front panel PCB with buttons and replace "Auto" one, 'cause it's stuck.
If you want to unlock an Auto Adjustment and other functions in your monitor, then press and hold 'Enter' button for 5 seconds.
