Question about HP OfficeJet K80 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

I have an HP Officejet k80. When I send a print job to the printer, before the paper is taken, there is a bad noise when the printer starts to move. It sounds like a grinding noise. Then the printer does a good job of printing the document. The noise is so bad, that the printer may die soon! Thanks, Peter

Sounds to me like a cog in one of the gear wheels is restricted somehow or has lost one of the teeth and that is what the noise is

Hp office jet K80 recieves fax, sounds like it is printing but pages are blank

It sounds like an empty cartridge. check your cartridges, it may be time to replace them. You have to give more information like did you try a print test and if so did it print ok? have you tried to have someone send you a test fax from different numbers?

Multiple paper feed

The paper separator pad is worn out and will need to be replaced. It's a rubber pad that rests behind the paper pickup roller and is supposed to prevent what you're experiencing. Contact your nearest authorized HP repair center.
