Digital camera 98379

Hello, Ive been trying to get my pic's off my new camera. When I try to download my computer is showing can't find driver softwear for device. I have a new Dell inspiron 530 and i was told alot of stuff wont download if its older than 6 months made. So can you tell me what I need to do to fix this problem. I really would like to get these pic's off my camera, My sister is getting married this week and I need to take more pic's.
