Instructions
things you'll need:

* Laundry detergent
* Clean cloths
* Measuring tape
* Plywood (if necessary)
* Wrench (if necessary)
1.Verify that the Kenmore top-loading washing machine is completely plugged into a grounded, three-prong power outlet. Reset the fuse or circuit breaker, if necessary; do not plug the washing machine into an extension cord.
2.Make adjustments to the feet on the washing machine if it is shaking or vibrating. The front and rear feet must all be touching the floor evenly. If the floor under the machine is flimsy and cannot adequately support the washer, set a 3/4-inch piece of plywood under the machine for better stability. Load the tub evenly when placing items inside the washing machine and do not overload the tub.
3.Examine the washing machine drum, including between the inner and outer basket, if the machine is clicking or rattling during use. Remove loose objects from inside the drum. If objects are caught between the drums, unplug the washing machine and pull the items out with a pair of pliers, if possible.]
4.the fill hoses behind the washing machine if there are water leaks and ensure the drain hose is connected to a laundry tub or drainpipe. Look at the plumbing throughout the home for drainage problems and correct as necessary.
5.Turn on the water valves behind the washing machine and clean the water inlet hose screens if the water is not running or filling. Do not overload the tub, and use only high-efficiency (marked HE) laundry detergent in high-efficiency Kenmore washers. Note that energy-efficient washing machines often use less water than other machines; this is normal.
6.Choose a wash cycle with a higher spin speed if the water is not draining as expected or items are extremely wet when washing is complete. Reduce overall load size and select a new drain/spin cycle to remove the extra water from the washer. Ensure the drain hose is properly installed on a drainpipe or tub and is not set more than 96 inches above the floor.
7.Reduce the number or volume of items inside the washer tub if the clothes are not rinsed when the cycle is complete. Verify that the water valves are turned on and the correct type and amount of laundry detergent is used.

The washing machine never runs a complete cycle...it never performs the rinse and spin...always displays a 'nf' code it has never run a cycle completely through

- Foreign material is entering the water supply valve.
- The water supply valve terminal is not connected.
(Wire disconnected)
- The warm water and rinse connectors are wrongly
connected to each other.
- This occurs if the PCB terminal from the drain hose
to the detergent drawer is not connected. Check
whether the transparent hose is folded or torn.
- The cold and warm water supply hoses are wrongly
engaged into each other.
- The temperature of the water supplied through the dry
valve during a dry cycle is sensed as higher than 70
˚C.
The water
supplied for 1
minute drying
the drying cycle
is 0.3 ~ 0.4 L.
- The water temperature is sensed as higher than 50 ˚C
in the Wool or Lingerie courses.

Machine empties water of the wash and rinse cycles all over the floor-no crack in the drain pipe - no sign of leakage in the drain hose attatched to the washer

Most likely have a bad water pump. If not you have a bad tub seal. Just hope it's the water pump. It's located just under the front. It's white and has either 2 or 3 hoses coming from it. Some models have 2 some have 3. No problem to replace and cost around $40.00. Good luck

ASKO D3432XLB keeps running, draining but hasn't gone into the wash cycle yet. won't turn off even when I turn the power button off.

Water on lower bottom. Leakage or blocked drain pipe. Is common error. The machine will act like this so that water wont get on your kitchen floor, in case of fault on inlet valve. The machine indicates overflow. Dry out water on bottom, and than the machine will work normaly. But check for leakage. Just in case.

F & P washing machine GW709AU not competing rinse cycle and then beeps and flashes light.

My Whirlpool washing machine is not stopping after completion of wash cycle instead it is repeating the cycle again. It is not consistent, but out of 3 washes 1 wash is happening that way...we are manually stopping machine by gaurding carefully when timer shows nearer to completion.

GE Nautilus won't drain after Rinse Cycle

Check disposer plug. If a garbage disposer has been recently installed, it is possible the disposer drain plug was not removed. The drain plug is a plastic piece in the disposer that blocks the hole where the dishwasher hose connects. Also check the hose connected to the disposal. Mine apparently had a kink in it. When I straightened the hose the dishwasher drained at full speed (I recently had a plumber re-route a hot waterline. He must has bent the hose). Hope this helps. If not go to the GE website. That's where I found my answer.
