Before you do something which could potentially damage the machine. Use the printer software to do a nozzle test, make sure you have the correct paper settings, and make sure that you have color management enabled in the driver properties. If you have exhausted all other possibilities carefully clean the docking pads as some leeching across colors has always been apparent even from the first Canons.

Some have posted reset instructions here, but I wouldn't do that since the ink can overflow and make a mess. You should have the absorbers replaced by a repair shop and the reset done properly.

 or E,2,2 is CARRIAGE ERROR. Maybe is the faulty of CARRIAGE UNIT, LOGIC BOARD, CARRIAGE MOTOR or TIMING **** STRIP FILM.
