Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

Hello I installed a network card for my Canon iR3300 and I configured the network port, but I can not detect it, although I just go to the printer from its IP address.

Thank you, I've already done all this before, but the problem is in the printer itself, I can enter in the spooler via the IP address directly, but no transfer of data between the computer and the printer is what we must change the hard disk of my printer or it's a configuration problem.

Thry and restart your router, sometimes the router needs a restart to fully connect with new devices. If you can ping the printer using the IP address, it is connected to the router. Check the Sharing settings on your printer. If you don't have it set to be shared, it won't show up an a network.

If you found this information helpful, please remember to leave positive feedback. If you need further assistance, let me know.

Thank You,

Brian

You need an ethernet network of computers
You need to set up the ip addess and subnet mask in the printer via its setup menu . At the very least a ethernet network Switch with static ip addesses for each device , or A router with DHCP server to dynamically assign ip addresses.
you need an rj45 socket on the ir3300 which it should have 802.3 ethernet 10/100 tbase ethernet according to ir3300 specs if it is missing you need a network card to be added to ir3300 by Xerox / Cannon

How to install canon ir 3300 printer installed ?

First make sure a tech's installed the Canon Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit for the IR3300 (includes network kit and BOOT-ROM).
When you press the counter check button do you see IR3300(IR2200N)? If not then you don't have the printer kit installed.
If you have the print kit installed, the print drivers can be downloaded from the Canon website. You'll need to have your copier on your network.
You could then setup a local printer using a tcp/ip port (assign your copier a static IP address) on your server and then share it on your network.

Networking imagerunner 2200

First, plug the printer into the network with an Ethernet cable. Then, go into the configuration page on the printer's display and print a configuration page. Look for the IP address. When you have that, go to the computers that need to connect to the printer. (Note that this tutorial is for Windows XP, I am not familiar with Vista but this should give you a basic overview.) Go to Start > Printers and Faxes. Click add a printer on the left hand side of the window. Select a Local printer attached to this computer, and unselect automatically detect. On the next page, click create a new port > TCP/IP port. Type in the IP address of the printer. Then choose the driver you are going to use, you should be able to find the IR 2200 driver under canon pretty easily. If not, go to canon.com and download their drivers. Once you do this, print a test page and it should print. You are then fully configured.

Printer keeps pausing itself!!

dev_24ind: The parallel port cannot be used for printing by default. Heaps of people have made this mistake. You need a N Boot Rom installed and N system software. Almost certainly you don't.
Get a Network Multi PDL Printer Kit C1 for IR3300 (contains N Boot Rom and NIC aka ethernet port). A technician can install this and update system software and you will be able to print. You will be able to print over a network (which is the preffered option) use Remote User Interface and Pull Scan using Canon Network ScanGear (google it).

Hello

First, I assume that it copies, etc. I would try rebooting the computer and go into the BIOS settings and check the configuration of the lpt port. You might see choices such as: EPP, ECP, BiDirectional or some such nomenclature. Whatever it is currently set at, try another one of the settings. I've typically found that either ECP or BiDirectional tend to work the best. Or, as an alternative, you could use the network interface and make it a network printer.
