When your refrig goes into defrost , the water runs down the back of the refrig ( inside ) and out to the drip pan thru a drain hole under the crispers . If water is under the crispers , remove the crispers and you should see a " cap " covering the drain hole . Sometimes crud will cover the slots where the water is supposed to drain , causing water to pool under the crispers . Just remove this cap , clean , and reinstall .

Water is puddeling under the left side and front of the fridge. its dry and dusty underneath. water line for ice maker has been disconnected for years. cant figure where the water is coming from

You have a side by side or a undermounted freezer? I am having the same problem with mine. Take a look into the bottom of the freezer, there is probably ice building up on the bottom of it under the bottom self or basket. It seems if the refrigerator door is opened frequently and it is moderately or very humid in your home the water vapour condences inside the freezer. There is probably a condensation tray somewhere that is overflowing into the freezer compartment. Once the ice build up on the bottom gets to a certain point the water then starts to run out the front of the fridge onto the floor. Remove the ice from the bottom of the fridge and empty the condensation tray. You may have to continually do this during humid periods. For me that is about 6 months of the year every 3 to 4 days. It's a pain but what are you going to do.

Whirlpool God 26cu ft French Door Refrigerator Model # GI6FDRXXY02 is leaking water on the kitchen floor. The water appears to be leaking in the front & water is leaking on both sides. Has anyone ha

There is usually a condensation pan at the bottom of a fridge. This can fill with water and over flow, causing what is happening. Also, the ice maker could be causing the problem because the water connections can leak at the back where they connect to the house water system.

Water leaks at bottom of fridge

The same thing happened to me then I noticed ice had formed at the bottom of our fridge. It was covering a drain hole so water was leaking out the front of fridge instead of going to the drain pan or wherever the hole goes. After I chipped out the ice and cleared the hole with warm water the leak stopped. I also fixed another leak coming from bottom of fridge caused by a loose brass connection on water line going to the door.

My fridge randomly gurgles. no ryhme or reason. cant trace source other than somewhere sround the bottom---i think

This sound is caused by the drain tube. It has a U shape in it at the bottom. when water comes in it pushes the sittin water out, therefore making a bubbling sound. No problems:)

There is a leak somewhere in the refrigerator causing water/ice to accumulate in the bottom of the freezer. Husband says it is not the icemaker itself that is causing the problem.

There may be a vent hole at back of fridge, some fridger like mine have a drain hole to vent moisture out through a pipe to drain on top of rear tray for evaporation.

Our roper fridge is leaking water onto the bottom shelf and into the bottom drawer area where it puddles. After a few days it is enough water to saturate 2 kitchen towels. Otherwise the fridge works...

Good day,
Sounds as if the drain in the freezer compartment is iced up.
Remove the rear panel in the freezer compartment, and check for ice blocking the drain hole. If so melt out with hot water (no heat such as a hair dryer).

Depending on your style, the defrost water runs from there into the top of the fresh food compartment, out a fitting to the back of the machine and down into the drain pan.
The blockage is there somewhere.
Service techs use compressed air to blow the drain system clean, once all ice is melted.

If you have no access to a device like that, a standard tire pump with a 1/4" stub piece of tubing makes a good substitute.
Be patient. Do not force air if any ice still exists. May cause damage to connected fittings.
You'll know when you get it right. Water, when poured on the cooling coil will run thru the drain and wind up in the drain pan.

Refrigerator is leaking/dripping clear water, but the ice maker lines have no leaks and it appears to be coming for the middle of bottom of the box somewhere.

You may have a leak from the water supply line that is attached to the fridge from the house hold line near the bottom right corner of the fridge.

The water coming out of the water dispenser in our GE Profile PSC25PSWA fridge is hot--hot enough to take a bath in. We don't know why the water is suddenly not being cooled and think this is causing...

Is this a new fridge that was recently installed? Because the only thing I can think of that could be causing hot water coming out of the water dispenser is either the installer/tech hooked up the fridge water inlet line to a hot water line somewhere.

Either that, or there is so much extra plastic water line running around in back and/or bottom of the fridge, that the water in the line is getting heated up by being in contact with the condensor coils or the compressor, etc.

No doubt, this is an interesting situation and some more background will likely be needed to get to the source of the problem, especially since you didn't mention any problems with cooling in the fridge or freezer.

Hope this was Very Helpful and let us know some more info, if my basic hunches aren't the problem. Best regards!
