You can usually get any device driver from the manufacturer support site. In your case it would support.asus.com. You look for the download section and it will direct you to where you can download device drivers for your machine. Try that. Also if your device has a recovery partition built in you can use the repair option to recover drivers or the actual recovery/install disk that may have come with the machine. Windows update usually does a pretty good job of locating drivers as well you can go to the site at update.microsoft.com or start, all programs, windows update in the start menu. I hope this is helpful to you

The first link gives the specs of your system. The second link is for Intel. The Asus site is down today however, you may want to go to the Intel link and click on "Run Intel Driver Update Utility" and let it scan and advise you of updates. It will also provide you with Intel updates which you can get there. You system is mainly Intel, with Nvdia graphics and Reatek sound.Hope this helps. If on "audio system" it suggests going to manufacturer Try Asus later today or tomarrow.

Problems with sound . i have asus p5vdc-x

Hi,
Did you try reinstalling the Sound card driver. Kindly check if the driver supports Windows 7 or you need to get the latest driver for Windows 7. Some tips given below can help you diagnose the issue related to your Motherboard.
If you have the motherboard CD, try this:
Go to device manager and uninstall the sound driver.
When installing it again, choose to search for the driver. Then go to the cd>drivers>audio>vista.

If you dont have the cd, just download the vista drivers from asus.com
