The only other thing that would cause this, if the internal memory was used then it would send out conflicting information. Remove the memory card from the camera, next! go to menu, and locate "format" follow the prompt to remove all photo data, when that is completed you can now install the memory card back in the camera for normal use.

There is a number on bottom of my Fujifilm FinePix XP20 Camera the number is 1QP28828....now is this the serial number or the model number??

That's probably the serial number. The model is XP20. A serial number is a number that is unique for each XP20 camera (or whatever gizmo it might be). You can have many XP20's, but only one of them in the world can have that serial number.

We have been using our Finepix s9500 for a few years now with minimal problems (we preferred the previous model). A couple of weeks ago, we were out using the camera and the 1GB CF card read as full after...

firstly try checking your settings. i get used to get alot of customers who came in with similar problems and some of them were because they switched their save settings to internal. if that doesnt work make sure all pics are saved somewhere and try reformatting your memory cards.

When ever i turn my camera on with the sd card in it reads card error. ive tryed cleaning for dust making sure the sd card wasnt locked but nothings working to help me fix the "card error"

Your card may be full or damaged.
Is the card compatible with your camera - most cameras will work only with specific cards.
Does the camera work with another card? If you haven't tried that I would suggest you do so.
If you get the same message with another normal card then the problem may be with your camera.

Memory stick duo reads full but it is not really that full

There is a reserved amount of unused space that is required for files used to run it.

Think of it this way,A blank disk will show nothing.Add a one word document and write protect the disk,It will show the disk is full,Even though you know it only has one word written to it.

Please rate this a fixya

When i turn myolympus d-545 zoom on it reads card full. Then when i try and look at the pics to delet some nothing happens.

Sounds like you will need to format the memory card. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Ok button - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to Card tab - right arrow to card setup - right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the card full message and the card can be used again.

Finepix s700

Hi,

I had the same problem. Once it said "Memory Full" there's no way to get rid of it how much you try to recover, format the card, reset the camera with no avail. I had thought the camera was out of order. Then googled around and come across with this workaround. When nothing else works for you just take out the memory card. Take a picture to the internal memory of the camera and then insert the card. Voila!! you can enjoy our camera. I guess this is a software bug. The camera can not reset the memory card full flag before you take a picture to the internal memory.

I hope this helps.

Memory card full

Get a bigger memory card. (Capacity wise) 8MB won't let you hold hardly any pictures. Get something with like 512MB- 1G.
