Question about Keurig B60 Coffee Maker

1 Answer

Our Keurig is starting to become very noisy. It sounds like a car that has a hard time starting up, a winding sound. It pours coffee alright still, so I de-scaled it incase the noise was just build up- however, it is still oddly noisy compared to when we first bought it.

Clean with clr or lime away. Then use only distiller water.

Water pours out in a trickle and takes forever to make a cup of coffee. What can I do to speed things up

You should consult the owner's manual and find out about the cleaning procedure. This sounds like limescale has built up and has furred the pipework. Some anti-limescale treatment should work but you don't want anything too harsh.

How do I prime my machine?

Hi again, When the machine is turned on, open the steam tap until approx 100mls of water comes out. The pump will sound really noisy, until the water starts to come through. Then the pump should not sound as loud. Dazza REPAIRER

Keurig B70 won't stop cycling water. it just keeps draining the resevoir. Water is cold, not heated.

Not hot enough

Sounds like the heating element has some hard water buildup on it. Follow the cleaning/descaling instructions that came with your unit, should fix the problem.  Also, if you have an in sink garbage disposal, don't waste the hot vinegar.  Pour it into the disposal, turning the unit on as you pour, off when you're done.  The vinegar is mildly acidic and will disinfect the disposal unit.
