Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

My phone is brand new. During the first day (i was using my phone) there was a little symbol on the screen that is shaped like a sd card, which means that the phone reads it. Then my phone's battery went dead (empty) and I recharged it. After recharging and turning on my phone, I noticed that the symbol wasn't there. I tried to check my settings if there was anything wrong, I think I wasn't able to find one. I thought that the sd card was just placed wrongly or went loose for whatever reason but I found it perfectly fine. I tried restarting my phone for a few times already and even resetting everything. Still, nothing. I hope you guys can help. :(

I have an LGL75C with new sim card and cannot switch apps from phone memory to sim card

Do you mean from internal memory to SD card? Some apps can not be moved to SD cards. Also if you replaced your sim card the apps are on the old card. You would have to backup your apps from the old sim card to the external SD card then re-install them. Some cell providers have online back up that you can use.Good luck.

The SD card from my Olympus camera does not fit into my new ViviCam 5022. Does it have to be a certain brand of SD card?

Is it actually an SD card? The Vivicam 5022 accepts SD cards up to 8GB (which means SDHC as well), but many Olympus cameras use an XD card, which is quite different. SD and SDHC cards are all the same for fit, regardless of brand.

Htc phone saying memory full. i've only had my phone for a little over 1 month and have downloaded very little. how do i move to sd card and how do i save apps to sd card

Make sure your sd card is not corrupt. It should auto save to your sd card. You will probably want a card that is at least 2gb. Go into settings, sd card and phone storage, and make sure unmount sd card is brightest. This means that your card is in and recognized. At the bottom of that screen, you should see internal phone storage, here it will tell you how much memory is free outside of the sd card. You will want this to have at least 100mb free so that the phone can operate at is smoothest.

Hi,

The tree symbol is the profile you have choosed. It is in Outdoor mode so the symbol is in Tree shape. If you change the profile it will get changed.Outdoor mode is like loud mode profile.

Go to MENU->SETTINGS->GENERAL->PROFILE

Sandisk micro SD "card error"

The five pics are being stored on the camera's internal memory. The card you used was formatted and used in your phone. It's a miracle it worked at all. You need to get a new card, format it in your new camera have fun.

How do i fit the small chip/ card into my nokia 6650 slide

You are very vague, but I think I know what you are talking about.
If you are talking about the SIM Card most carries that still use it put the slot for it under the batter. Look for a little symbol in the shape of the sim card. Otherwise, if you are talking about a mini/micro SD card it is found either under the batter, or on the side under a flap, chances are the phone doesn't take it.

Wii sd card reader

i think that you must format the card. try that first and if it still doesn't work, maybe try a lower capacity card (though capacity shouldn't be the issue)
hopefully that helps

Card Error

If you should see the warning message "CARD ERROR" in the LCD Display, please check the following: Always choose reliable quality SD Cards. Toshiba Digital Cameras are tested for maximum performance with Toshiba SD Cards, Delkin SD Cards and Panasonic SD Cards. These are leading brands in the development of standard SD technology. Performance by other brands of SD cards may vary. Check the LOCK switch on the SD Card. The camera can not save images to an SD Card when it is in the lock protected position. If the SD Card is NEW, it may be necessary to FORMAT the card. This only applies to NEW SD Cards. If you format a card with images, all images will be erased. You can FORMAT your card periodically to maximize capacity and erase 'unseen' files, please be sure to download all images before choosing FORMAT as all images will be erased. Your Toshiba Digital Camera is designed for use with SD Cards. MultiMedia Cards are similar in size and shape to SD Cards, although with close inspection you will find that SD Cards have a different 'PIN" connection configuration, are slightly thicker in size, and have a manual slide LOCK switch on the side. Toshiba Digital Cameras are not designed or guaranteed to accept MultiMedia Cards. Please be sure to look for SD Cards from Toshiba, Panasonic and Delkin, the leaders in SD Card Technology.
