SOURCE: I have the rechargeable battery

If you remove the rechargable battery pack and put regular batteries back in, are you still having the same problem? If so, I would recommend returning the rechargable unit and replacing it.

For what it is worth, I've been using my Wii Fit board for nearly a month on 4 alkaline batteries and have not had any problems.

I recommend rechargeable NiMH batteries with a 15-minute quick charger. Always have four more batteries than you need in your machine, ie: if you have a Wii Fit, a Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar, and two Wiimotes, then you should have 16 batteries total (4 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 4 spare).

Good luck!

SOURCE: cant charge battery pack for wii fit balance board

You may want to send an email to In the meantime, try keeping it plugged into the USB port for at least an hour, or perhaps overnight. See if the light stops flashing and stays on. Then try plugging it back into the Wii Fit unit.

My personal suggestion is to return the charger and battery and buy a 15-minute charger and four more NiMH AA batteries than you need for all of your accessories. Not only are AA batteries compatible with all your accessories, but you won't be out a gizmo while it's needing to be charged.

Good luck!

SOURCE: tried to sync wii fit

Your batteries may be dead. The remotes blink the same way when the batteries are almost completely gone. I am not sure if this is the solution but it is worth a try.

When syncing a new wii balance board game to the balance board it unsyncs the remotes every time i resync the remote it unsyncs the balance board

Get a partner and do the syncing at the same time or take the the controller far away when it is synced so it doesn't turn off

How do i sync the wii balance board with the console?

First you need to press the red sync button on the balance board, then press it on the wii. After the first sync it should start automatically. If it starts having problems with lag or anything else, try taking out the batteries of the wii fit balance board and then resync it.

Its working sometime then blue light flash then turn off said Communications with the wii Balance Board have been interrupted.

It sounds like the batteries maybe low. To check this press the home button on the wii remote and you can check the status of the battery if you look at the controller list that comes up when you push the home button.

If this is fine try resyncing the balance board. To do this follow the guide here:

If this doesn't work you'll need to call Nintendo so they can troubleshoot the board further.

I tried to play balance games on wii fit but when it said turn on the balance board it turned on for 2 seconds and turned right back off how do we fix this and we just put new batteries in it?

your board may well need to be synched to the wii again, try that. if the battery pack still rfuses to work, try some AA batteries first, then resynch it. If it still refuses to work suspect your battery pack has discharged and replace it.

Cant sync wii balance board

I know it's been a while since you have posted and have prob already figured it out. But just in case this may help someone else. Try turning off your wii and unplugging from the power source for a few minutes. The plug back in and turn on. At the initial warning screen press and hold the sync button on the wii console for about 4 sec. You will have to resync your wii remotes. Next make sure the disc for the game you are going to use the balance board with is in the system and start the game. Then try to sync the balance board.
