A Haynes or Chilton aftermarket service manual has detailed electrical diagrams with wire color codes  along with a lot of other useful info and costs $20-$30 US at auto parts stores. I buy one for any car I own and even if I am getting too old to do much on them any more, I can at least get an idea of any problem that occurs before going to our local gypsy for repairs.

Need wire color diagram

Black = AC hot
Red = switched AC hot
Yellow = AC hot from a another source - another control panel as an example.
White = neutral
red w/white tracer = switched neutral
Green or green w/ yellow tracer = ground/earth ground
blue = DC voltage, ie, 12vdc, 24vdc
white w/blue tracer = dc common
Brown = AC 3 pahse - phase A
Orange = AC 3 pahse - phase B
Yellow = AC 3 Phase - phase C
shileds: think of current loops
2 cond
clear or red = +
black = -(neg)
3 cond
red = power (24vdc typically for transducers)
clear = + (signal output)
black = - (signal common)
Hope this helps, oh, and any panel I have design and wired this way is easily understaood by 99% of all service and electrical people I have worked with.

84 pontiac fiero 2.5l previous owner cut the factory wire harness and wired in a single pole relay. Now the two speed fan only runs when the engine gets to temp. need diagrams or someone to explain how to...

what you have to know is the ECM in those year start the injection . Coolant fan work by a relay and the relay is control by ECM a ground to relay. Find out the wire for A/C to relay.then find a + wire for current to relay then power from relay to coolant fan.if you want two speed to coolant fan you need at least 3 wires at coolant fan motor.

1992 corolla radiator fan won't come on

This is the only way to tell if the fan motor is good:
Locate the wiring connector that comes out of the cooling fan. Examine the wires going to the fan motor connector from the engine room harness. Look for the Black with a Red tracer wire going to the fan motor connector FROM the engine harness, before the fan connector. This is the "power in" wire...Remove some of the insulation on the Black/Red tracer wire to expose the copper. Using a suitable length piece of wire, connect one end to the Positive battery post. Being real careful, connect the other end of thie wire to the now exposed copper on the Black/Red trace wire. EXPECT to see a spark. If the fan runs, the fan is good. If the wire starts to smoke, or gets real hot, the fan is locked up, and no good. Please reply if you need further diagnosis info.
