Required: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible computer

Required: Intel P3 1.0 GHz or AMD Athlon 1000 MHz
Recommended: Intel P4 2.0 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 2400+

Required: 256 MB RAM
Recommended: 512 MB RAM

Graphics Card
Required: 64 MB 3D Graphics card with Vertex and Pixel Shader (VS/PS) Capability
Recommended: 128 MB 3D Graphics card with Vertex and Pixel Shader (VS/PS) Capability

Sound Card
Required: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible Audio Device

Required: 8X Speed CD-ROM drive
Recommended: 16X Speed CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive

Input Device
Required: Keyboard and mouse. Gamepad and joystick supported
Recommended: Gamepad

Microsoft DirectX 9.0c (April 2006 Edition) is included on this CD. You will be prompted to install DirectX during the installation of this game if this or a more recent version is not already properly installed on your system.
NOTE: DirectX may require the "latest" updates for your operating system. This may also include the latest drivers for your motherboard, sound, and video hardware.

Installation: Installation requires 3.5 GB of free hard drive space. We recommend that you have an additional 500 MB of free space available after installing the game for the Windows swap/page file.

You must have local Administrator rights to properly install LEGO Star Wars II and update Dire

No other programs should be running in the background.
System resources should be at least 85% free.

To check this:
Press CTRL-ALT-DEL once, choose Task Manager, choose the Performance tab, and check CPU Usage.
There should be at least 500 MB of free hard disk space after installation.

If you experience performance issues when running LEGO Star Wars II, we recommend that adjust the following options in the Video Options menu:

Lower the video resolution.
Set Antialias to Off
If this option is set to Antialias from Control Panel, you will need to set your Antialiasing Setting to Application-Controlled in the Windows Display Properties for your specific graphics card.
Disable Bloom Effect.

Please close all other programs before running LEGO Star Wars II. This includes virus-scanning, word processing, and Internet programs. Simply disabling these programs will not always help, as the programs still use resources that are needed to run LEGO Star Wars II. If you experience problems completely closing programs that are running, consult the documentation for those individual programs. This is a common problem when trying to completely disable virus-scanning software.

SOURCE: when running Dust: a tale of the wired west under

I had the same problem. Originally Dust was loaded on my ancient Sony Vaio running windows 98. When I got a new Dell Inspiron running windows vista I transferred all my favorite games and files via wireless connection. When I tried to play Dust the other day I had the same trouble saving. My solution was to once again access my Vaio via the Dell using wireless and track down a previous saved game. The save files being .rtd Once these .rtd files were on my dell I could overwrite them with new saved data from the game thus fixing the problem. All you need to do is find a saved .rtd file from Dust and you can once again save your games under that file. I guess Vista cannot create .Rtd files but can use them. Hope this helps; I love this game and I hope at least one person gets to enjoy it again thanks to my post.

Have a used copy of Soccer Mania for Windows, but no code

Sadly, you'll need to find a code to run the game. If the game has been lent to you, ask the person who is allowing you to borrow it for the code. If you bought it used, you may want to consult who you bought it from for a refund or further help.

Lego Creator will not run on my computer..with Windows 2007

Find the executable for the program, (it's probably in C:/Program Files/Lego Media/Lego Creator) right click on it and then click on "Properties" in the next menu. Once the smaller window comes up, go into the "Compatibility" tab. Next, check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select either "Windows 95" or "Windows 98". Try both and see what works best.

Install lego loco on vista

Q. Will LEGO Loco work with Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows 3.1, Macintosh, or Linux operating systems?
LEGO Alpha Team has been tested and is supported on the Windows 95 and 98 platforms. We have not tested LEGO Alpha Team on Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows 3.1, Macintosh, or Linux and therefore we are not able to provide technical support for these platforms.
While we realize this is not an ideal solution for other operating system users, we are very excited about this new product and will keep you posted through our web site with any news regarding development for the other computing platforms.

Get script error message whenever you move the mouse

Is it an older game? Just for fun you could try Windows 98 compatibility mode. Right click whatever icon you use to launch the game, click the Compatibility tab up top. Then click the checkbox "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" try Windows 98. Secondly, you should uninstall the game, reboot, reinstall the game.

It does not work on my computer, it says not compatible

These are the minimum requirements:

  • Pentium II 350 or equivalent
  • 200MB Hard Drive Space
  • 64MB RAM
  • Any 16MB DirectX 8.1 3D compatible graphics card
  • CD-ROM Speed 8x or faster
  • Any 100% DirectX 8.1 compatible soundcard

  • That being said, you memory, hard drive, optical drive, and cpu definitely blow away these requirements. However, if you are using an integrated video card, you fail because you need a separate video card with 16 MB dedicated video memory. You also need directX 8.1 compatible sound device (most likely you do).

If you do have all those and it still isn't working, keep in mind that this program was designed just after the release of XP. Service packs from XP can often cause compatibility issues with older software. Try right clicking on the icon for the program, go into properties, go into compatibility mode, and play around with some different settings in there. Click okay each time then see if the program works.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

    Lego Island

Older programs will sometimes not work with Vista. This is likely the reason that Lego Island 2 (a 2001 game) will work a opposed to Lego Island (a 1997 game). There are a few things that you can try, though:
    1. Right click the 'play game' icon and select 'Properties'
    2. Click the 'Compatibility' tab at the top of the window
    3. Click the 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' box and select Windows XP or Windows 98/Window ME (you can try another later if one doesn't work)
    4. Make sure that the 'Run this program as an administrator' box is selected.
    5. Click 'OK' and close the window
Give the icon the good ol' double click and see if she works. There's no guarantees that this will work with Vista since it is an older program, but this is where I would start.

    I hope this helps!

Video & movie saving problems on a few users

Hi, It is possible that certain computer privileges are not allowed to you as a 2nd user and all are allowed in your dad's account (presumably as Administrator). With your dad's permission and agreement, set up your account also as an administrator. Hope this works for you and should you need further information, pls post again. Good luck and kind regards.
