Hello, there can be multiple causes and solutions to this type of problem you have but my guess is that there is a service not running properly for the screensaver as in THIS Microsoft article.

To view services to see if the Human Interface driver is working go to start->Run->type in the box "services.msc" without the double quotes, and then find the service mentioned in the microsoft article.

OR you can use the registry editor to modify your screensaver settings (PLEASE ASK FOR FURTHER HELP OR CLARIFICATION WITH THIS / USE WITH CAUTION IF YOU DONT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING).

SImple example: Go to start->Run-> type in "regedit" and then go to the following registry entry/folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\ there you can find the screensaver key named:ScreenSaveActive, if set to 0 set it to 1 and vice versa to enable/disable screensaver modify settings. SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My screensaver will not come up on my computer

Depending on the operating system you have to go to the display setting to activate your screen saver. You can right click anywhere in the background and press on properties, the select screen saver on the tabs from top for windows XP or earlier. It's similar for win vista, 7 and 8 but its placed differently on the left side whe you select display properties.

There is probably something stopping your system going to sleep. Do you have a cheap optical mouse that creeps across the screen when untouched or a dodgy wireless keyboard and mouse that continues to poll the USB port to keep itself and the PC awake?

How to change icon into a regular icon on my laptop

Themes control the appearance of Windows XP, with themes you can change the desktop appearance, the look of icons, your screensaver, and have different sounds among other things.

Windows XP has some themes built-in, and you can also download themes from a variety of different places online.

below is the link , how to do it :

How do I set the time that my screensaver runs and then my wallpaper somes back on?

It depends on your version of windows but in general goto Control Panel, Appearance and Personalisation (also called display in XP) and look for the screensaver tab or link. This will display the settings you require.
Sometimes you can right click on your desktop and goto properties or personalisation to get to the same menu.

Hope this helps,

Assuming you are using Win-XP, go into control panel, Appearance and Themes and Choose a screensaver. There should be an option below the screensaver choice to adjust Power Saver settings.

P. 23 of your manual will tell you how to access the screensaver option from the menu of the player. Go to RCA's website if you are missing the manual.
