There are several makes with different prices, the question is what are YOU going to use it for.
Gaming/Photo/Audio/Video/Movie about $200.00 to $400.00 will get you a decent video card.
CAD/Graphics will be high end video cards close to a thousand or more.

Pci card slot

Since you have a PCI-e expansion slot any graphics card that is PCI-e interface will work, it all depends on what you do with your computer if you game on it then you'll want a more expensive card, if you don't do gaming then you can get by with a less expensive card. Just remember that just because you put in a very expensive graphics card doesn't mean you'll be able to play all the new games at high settings because the rest of you system is quite old and will not be able to keep up with an expensive graphics card it's what's called a bottle neck. Whether it be your processor and or your memory being the bottle neck in your case it would be both. So keeping all that in mind a low priced PCI-e graphics card would do just fine. Hope this helps

Ok , i have ATI RADEON 9600 Pro , series graphic card it says on the card i bought it 2 years go , and it costed me 50 $, now i see on internet the price is higher , but im not interested in that , im...

When you bought it the processor and the memory were a step down compared to the video card. Now, they are all completely outdated - some modern game will not run at all the others will run only at the lowest settings and even then at miserable resolutions and refresh rates.
You need a new pc, from scratch.

Hi. I was buying HP Pavilion slimline 5310sc and want to put a new graphic card in it, to play games. What cards would fit best? Bjarki

Graphics cards are of many companies. For my opinion, Ge-force and N-vidia graphics cards are best. 512 mb graphics cards are well for playing games. As your need of gaming, buy high capacity graphics card as 1 gb or 2 gb.

What AGP video card will work best in this board? what one is easy to find on eBay? I need to purchase new - the board was a gift with no other cards.

Any AGP graphics card will work in a motherboard with AGP slot.
Depending upon the applications you wish to use with the computer, for example, for just word processing and e-mail, then you only need a low cost graphics card with not much video RAM.
If you have a reasonable powerful late model motherboard and you use it to play graphic intensive computer games then these games need a expensive graphics card with a large amount of video RAM.
Based on this you can go to your friendly computer shop to see what is available and the price range. You can also use Google to research what is available.

Help me to choose right component for Radeon HD4850 512MB ddr5?

run at least 2.5 gig of memory. You can get them cheap on ebay. Processor should be duo core or equivelant. Single processors work, but do lag. Graphics cards are not actually as important as people think. You can use a stock graphics card with good processor and 2-4 gig of memory and have a good gaming computer.

What is the best graphics card for a K8M800-M7A

Lagacy board? AM2 Socket? If so it has an AGP slot. Advanced Grapics Port. Go to;  Newegg.com  type in AGP card and you will see lots of hits. Or go to : Tigerdirect.com  I believe that they have a Raydon 9550 on sale right now which is a really good compromise between price and preformance for you present machine. Unfortunately the higher the price the better the card. The amount and type of RAM on the card seems to be the biggest factor.     These are all my thoughts only.    Most gaming machines, now days, use one or more  PCIe16  slots with multiple cards tied together. The AGP proceeded this.
