I have a new SATA hard drive to put into a used Toshiba M115-S3094 and I upgraded the RAM with the correct parts. The problem is when I plug it in, the power light shows blue but when I press the button to...

You problem is your memory. Try putting up the old memory and i'm sure that it will work again.

Possible Solution 1.

If you just add-up the new memory, try removing the old memory and just use the new memory because they might not have the same brand, speed, or something else.

Possible Solution 2.

If you are using only the new memory, you might want to try the old memory only and if it boots up again, you might have compatibility problem on your newly bought memory.

Hope it helps.

No power on my toshiba m115-s3094

Did you open your notebook case at all? If you did, there is a small ribbon that you probably wouldnt even realize came unplugged. To plug this and another larger connector back, Youll need to remove the keyboard. To do so, open the screen up as far as possible so the entire notebook is laying flat on a counter. The silver trim piece above the keyboard will pop off with a little force, and you will see two small phillips head screws holding the keyboard in place. Remove those, and the keyboard should come out. Youll see these two plugs through a hole that is hidden under the keyboard. Plug those back in, and if it still doesn't work, you probably have other issues, most likely the motherboard.
