I have a SanDisk Sansa e200 8G I bought in 2007, which was compatible with my Windows XP. Now I have a new computer with Windows 7 and can't find the drivers to install on it to use my MP3 player. Help!

I think you need to use the Sansa firmware updater . You can download it from here and run it on your system :

If the OEM is not making a driver then your probably out of luck. You may have to go back down to Win XP or sell or return the item. Not all manufactures have caught up with Win 7 drivers so you need to make sure there is a driver for the equipment you purchase.

I need a driver for my sandisk sansa m240. i have windows vista.


That model is not fully compatible with vista. So either it works or it doesn't. if not go back to using it on an xp machine.

You might have vista, which is compatible with nothing. Go to the Sandisk website, and get the up-to-date software for Vista. If you have a Mac or Linux, forget it.

Actually if you have windows Xp you will need to download the software from www.sandisk.com But if you have windows Vista you will not need the software, the computer should recognize it by itself.
