Hello Senzo - Are you sure there is not a 3.5 mm (small) audio in jack. most cards using that chip set are so equipped.

My tv only has red, white and yellow connections on the back which cables do i connect into the yellow slot?

I'm a bit confused by this question.

The AV cable from the Wii should have red, white, and yellow cables coming from it.

Does your AV cable from Wii not have 3 cables?

Red and White are for audio left and right.
Yellow is for video.

How to connect nintedo to plasma tv

Hi,things you will need,
  • Video game console
  • HDMI cable
  • Audio/visual cable.
  1. Plug in your video game console's power source.
  2. Connect one end of the game console's audio/visual cable into the corresponding slot on the console if you have an older game console. If you have a newer console, insert one end of an HDMI cable into your console's "HDMI OUT" port.

  3. Plug the red and white ends of the audio/visual cable into the corresponding red and white audio inputs located on the back of your Vizio plasma TV if you have an older game console. Plug the yellow cable into the yellow "Video In" input. Depending on which model of Vizio TV you have, the yellow input may be located either right next to the audio inputs or it could be located a few ports away.

  4. Plug an HDMI cable into one of your TV's "HDMI IN" ports, if you have a newer console.

  5. Turn on your video game console and your Vizio plasma TV. Press the "TV/VIDEO" button on your remote to cycle through the various inputs. You should eventually get to an input that's displaying your video game console's home screen.
I think that will do.

Have nice day.

Which accessories are a 'most have' for connecting my TV to a desktop pc?

You'll need:
•VGA cable
•S-Video Audio to 3 RCA Type Adapter Cable
•HDMI cable
•DVI cable
Check the connection options on your TV. If your TV has a VGA connection slot, plug the TV into the computer with a VGA cordlike a computer monitor. Connect one end of the VGA cable to the back of the computer and the other end to the TV. Switch between normal TV viewing to displaying your computer on your TV by selecting the proper mode from the remote control, some remotes will mark the proper mode as "VGA" while others will label it "Computer" or "PC."
Check the back of your computer to see if you have an S cable slot. Connect S cable portion of the S-Video Audio to 3 RCA Type Adapter Cable to the computer and plug in the green audio plug to the audio port of the PC. Plug the red white and yellow RCA cables into the matching colors of the RCA slots on the TV. With this method you will need to switch modes from TV to video.
Check the back of the computer and TV for either DVI or HDMI slots. The slots on your computer must match, you cannot connect a DVI to a HDMI. Plug one end of the corresponding cable into the the back of the TV and the other end into the computer. Choose the correct program mode, HDMI or DVI, from the remote to view the computer from the TV.

How do i hook up a nintendo to my tv which cords go where and can someone walk me through it

Round peg into the round hole. Red peg on the red slot. etc. If the wire from the nintendo doesn't fit the slot on the tv then you're in the wrong slot. if the wire from the nintendo fits the slot on the tv (and is the same color if you are using red/white/yellow rca cables) then you're good. here's a hint on connection types (you will not mix): 1. RCA (red/white/yellow round connectors) Red=right audio sound White=left audio sound Yellow=video connect to the slots that look like they want some. 2. Coaxial (stiff cable with a pinner poking out of the end -- same cable that connects you to cable tv) just hook it up by itself; it carries audio and video. 3. Component (red/green/blue)(red/white) two 'bundles' red=red component of video green=green component of video blue=blue component of video red=right audio white=left audio 4. VGA + (red/white) VGA=video (computer monitor cable) red=right audio white=left audio 5. HDMI (flat hdmi cable. you spent $30 on this 3 foot ****) HDMI=audio and video 6. hugs and kisses hugs=video kisses=audio (both sides)

How do i connect my GPX dvd player to my hd tv? I have Direct TV also.

I also have a GPS DVD Player and Direct TV. On the back of the TV there are slots for AV1 and AV2, I chose AV1. The yellow cable is your video. When placing the YELLOW in the video I noticed the pic was Black and White. After changing it to the slot marked Video Y the color came back. The white and red are audio. I put the WHITE in Audio L and the RED next to it in Audio Pr. Granted I am using a Phillips TV but the concept is the same. Hope this helps. If you don't have sound, switch the position of the Audio (red and white) cables.

There is no color or sound with my Wii. What do I need to do to get color and sound?

Is your tv set to show color? Is it a monochrome TV? Are all of the cables pushed in all the way? Make sure that you have the cable on the Wii pushed in all the way, then make sure that you have all the cables connected properly, all of them are connected to the "Input" slots as follows: Video(yellow) to Video(yellow), Red(right audio) to Red(right audio), White(left audio) to White(left audio). If it still doesn't work, try connecting it to another input on your TV, as the current input may be faulty.

Double click the little yellow speaker icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Click 'Options'. Click on 'Properties'. Check the boxes, click 'OK'. Make sure nothing is muted. You can also go into 'Control Panel' and then 'Sounds and Multimedia'. Check you see if that is set properly. Write back and let me know.
