Try going into control panel, then system and then device manager to see if any of your drivers are missing or not working. click the speaker symbol and to see the device status. Click the "driver" tab and click the update driver button. Also try to go to the website of your pc maker (Eg: Dell, Asus) and look for download drivers to get the latest drivers for your system
