Try to copy the contact from SIM card to phone.
To do this go to contact < scroll to copy < scroll to copy from SIM card to phone.

Please make sure you have your SIM card inserted into your phone properly. You may want to reseat it just to make sure. Otherwise, ensure that the SIM card type is compatible with the handset.

I have nokia x3 with sim card inserted but it can't show service provider name and shows the message that start without sim card and when cell phone starts up then no signals appear on screen. Now plzzzz...

Try the sim in another phone and another sim in your phone. What I see is either the sim is bad, or the phone is rejecting the sim. In either case, you would have to call your mobile sevice operators and alert them of the situation. They would help you further. Hope this was helpful?

Cannot receive signals even though sim inserted

Please check whether the Sim Card is activated and make sure it is 2G SIM Card and check whether you have selected General Profile and not the Flight Mode profile in the Nokia X3 Cellphone.

The blinking closed envelope icon indicates the SIM card message memory is full. If you insert a SIM card with full message memory to another device, a blinking message icon appears on the display of your Nokia device.

i think you have to go to the store where you purchased that cellphone...there is a warranty on it if you buy it in brand new status providing that there is no physical damage and seal is not broken..better to replace it by a new one before its too late..

If you remove your battery and SIM and insert it again. Your dialed and received calls all will be gone. Try it....
