Just open the cabinet

keep system somewhere near sun light to remove moisture within the cabinet
remove the RAM and clean it and fit it back

if moisture is removed your system will boot

Acer aspire 5520 keeps powering off before it starts properly how do i fix

Switch ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode' by continuously tapping F8 button after you switch On until you get the Safe Mode Option.

Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.

Switch On your PC/ Laptop and log in to windows.

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click 'System Restore'

A 'System Restore' window will appear.

Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next

Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '<' sign in the upper left hand corner of the Month Calendar and select any date that you see in Bold.

Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.

The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.

After reboot your problem should be resolved.

Sir,i have install 3 sata hdd on my motherboard gigabyte 945 GCM-S2L 1. 160gb 2. 500gb 3. 1 tb. my pc many times hangs on bootup and freezes then i disconnect the cable to turn off. how to fix that...

Do extensive diagnostic tests:

1. Set BIOS to default settings and do not use overclock settings, check.
2. Memory test, download ISO image, burn it onto cd and boot from it.
If memory fails after several hours testing: Replace memory
3. Flash the latest (original)[beta] BIOS version.
4. Connect just one (1) harddisk and test for longer time. *
5. Add second harddisk and test for longer time. *
6. Add third harddisk and test for longer time. *

* If connecting or adding harddisk leads to freezes, exchange that harddisk and retest.

CPU: intel core i3 550, MB: Inel DH55TC, Ram: Transcend: 2GB 1333Mhz, SMPS: 550 Watt. After first installation, this system ran for 3 months without any problems, suddenly, it became dead and assuming it...

How many years do you own that desktop computer? You have a problem with your Ram: Transcend: 2GB 1333 Mhz

Ram is always responsible to boot and run all system required by your computer
A defect ram cannot boot or not properly run application e.g.
Power-On-Self-Test (start up of your computer)
Booting your Operating System
Running your Application like Microsoft office , Photoshop and so on

Replace your Ram

Penryn1600sli-110db CMOS CHECKSUM BAD ERROR

I would replace the battery as the 1st thing, however I would also change your cpu fan for a new one and reseat the processor. Also get some decent cpu paste and make sure this is applied properly, and dont forget to wipe the old stuff off!

Does your case have anywhere were you can place some fans? It sound slike you have two problems to me, the battery being one and the overheating the second

I WANT TO FIX A PCI VGA CARD IN MY SYSTEM P5GD2-TMX/SUSING JUMBER

Hi again. As I mentioned in my other note to you, when installing a video card in a PCIe slot, you will need to tell the system (via Setup) which video to use. It will be somewhere in the various screens of BIOS settings for the motherboard. ASUS isn't really supporting this motherboard any longer, so the documentation I'd need to give you specific instructions is no longer available. Still, it is there in Setup (accessed at boot, by pressing the key prompted on your very first screen), you just need to look for it.

Once you've told the system which video to use, boot into Windows, and install the video drivers that came with the card.

Cheers

No boot

Check to make sure you don't have any extra standoffs under the motherboard that may be shorting it out.

New system does not start

You'll have to enter the BIOS, with whatever key or key combination and change to boot from cd. Usually ( Delete ) Key..Put your install disk in and reinstall the system. The (MBR) Master Boot Record and system drivers are for your old motherboard and hardware. It requires a fresh install to load the proper motherboard drivers and what not. Use a different hard drive if you need to recover old saved files from your old drive. Hope this helps....
Please rate this solution if it helps.. Thank You....

Problem

When you press enter to boot XP, keep pressing the F8 key on the keyboard. You now get a menu of options. Select "Last Known Good Configuration" and press enter. I have seen this solve the problem.
