Question about Computers & Internet

Without the Make and Model, I cannot link you directly to the patch/download you may need, but I can offer this. Go to the Manufacturer web site, choose support, enter your scanner model number and be Absolutely CERTAIN the Driver is STRICTLY for 64bit.
I reversed 3 of my own, family, computers back to 32 bit, because 64 was too much like work. I was doing full time support in my own home, every day a new problem or 6. Microsoft Windows 7, 64 bit; is a GREAT Operating system IF you use 3 or 4 programs, per day, every day and nothing more. Bearing in mind the 3 or 4 programs must be 64 bit programs.
It reminds me of Apples early days; when they had a dynamite Operating System, fast, virus free, but try to find a program for it.
All of your programs have to be 64 bit
