Hp pavilion 533w stuck in power saving what to do

The monitor is NOT receiving a video signal from the PC.
You could try a different monitor, but it is likely your graphics processing unit (GPU) has failed.
If your monitor plugs into the motherboard for the graphics signal, then you can purchase an 'ad-on' video card for your PC that will allow you to continue using that PC. Video cards come in a variety of shapes and sizes so you need to know what 'slots' for ad-on cards are available for use and how much your budget is. According to google, that model has onboard AGP graphics, so it will have PCI slots (do NOT confuse this with PCI-e they are NOT the same.) This is, (like the rest of your PC,) very old tech and there are sadly, not a lot of choices out there for PCI video cards. Basically, the ones left are the ones no one else wanted to buy....you are better-off calling local PC shops to see if they have any used cards for sale. You don't need anything more than a 32MB or 64MB card at the very most.

if you already have one, and are using it, then power everything down and unplug the power cord. Press the power the power-button for 5 seconds to ensure complete power-drain from the system. Completely remove the video card and blow-off any dust. Inspect the card for blown-capacitors, if none found; re-install the card, and reconnect everything and try it again.

Ok when i turn on my aoc monitor colors like blue green red white pop up i can never use my desktop

I would suggest that you try another monitor. If the monitor continues to light up with these colors and you do not see your computer desktop, then I would tend to think that your computer may have a problem with the video card or driver. Do you get a message on your montor with words like "no connection" or "No signal". If so, this means that the monitor is getting no video signal from you desktop. Try disconnecting your monitor plug and removing power from the monitor in an attempt to reset the monitor. Try also to turn off and unplug your computer. Leave the computer unplugged for about 10 minutes and start it up again. This may reset your computer. If you monitor video cable will disconnect from the monitor, you may want to get a new cable. These cable do go bad sometimes and are available and inexpensive on Ebay.com

Try these ideas and let me know how you do.

Hp pavillion 533w wont boot up green light on front comes on but thats it no fans coming on either

Hi ,

If the green light comes on on the front panel then it means the fan is spinning so what u can do is a self test for the monitor.Disconnect the vga cable from the back panel of the computer tower and then check if there is a message displayed on the monitor that should say check video signal or no inoput signal ,if there is no such message displayed then it means the monitor is a fault .If not then reset the memory card and then check .U can also run a test for the motherboard to do this u will have to remove the memory card and then turn the computer on if u hear long beeping noise it means the motherboard is fine .If u dont hear any sound then the mother board needs to be repaired or replaced...

all the best

Desktop has no signal

That means that the input from the monitor has no read able signal
Either the monitor is bad or the onboard or video card
Take the monitor and hook it up to a different PC to see if it works or hook a different monitor into that PC, that will ID which problem you have

PC shuts down while running Windows

Attempt to boot the machine in Safe-Mode.

While powering up continuously hit F8.

You will get a Boot Option Menu, Select Safe-Mode boot

If you can get into safe-mode I would suggest to try doing an online scan, as it sounds like your issue could be related to malware:
