When i turn the kenwood dvr-7000x on it turns it self streight back off

Try disconnecting the speakers. Then see if it turns on. If it does then there is a high chance you have some speaker wiring issues.
Make sure the speakers are the correct rating for the amp, and that only one speaker is connected per channel.

Well if it NEW, take it back, this is a microprocessor problem and should NOT happen especially to a new unit. Umm make sure ya remote isn't being activated..

did ya sdo it self cuz if soo you probly forgot to hook up the ignition wire because cds will eject while car is off check for power at ignitiion wire the red one coming from deck harness and then get back to me

Kenwood kdc when i turn it up to 23 it shuts its self off and then it comes back on.


you have a bad cable going to what ever your using when it turns off or you have one of the speaker cables cross somewhere

Kenwood kdc 3011 rests its self every time i turn the car off


This means that the power lead you connected the red and yellow to is a switched live and each time you turn off the ignition the power goes off and therefore resets. to fix this problem you need to connect the yellow to a permanent 12v supply that stays live when you turn off the ignition.
