Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I keep getting a message in a grey box as below. Any help would be appreciated. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime error Program:C\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT OFFICE\OFFICE10\WINWORD.EXE

I'm assuming this error is occuring when you open Microsoft Word. I'll continue under that assumption.

I suggest that you perform both of these fixes:

FIX #1
  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. Type "regedit" and click OK.
  3. The Registry Editor will pop up. BE VERY CAREFUL WHILE USING THIS EDITOR. Do not delete anything unless you are sure you are deleting the correct folder or key.
  4. On the left sidebar, expand this path: HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Office > (May have several folders here, only one will have the Word folder in it. Find it.) > Word
  5. You should see the folder 'Add-ins' or 'Add-ons' in the 'Word' folder. Delete the 'Add-ins' or 'Add-ons' folder. DO NOT DELETE THE 'Word' FOLDER.
FIX #2
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click 'Add or Remove Programs'.
  3. Click 'Microsoft Works in Word Suite Add-in', and then click 'Change/Remove'.
  4. Click OK to confirm the removal.
  5. Click Close.
  6. Restart your computer.
One or both of these fixes should solve your problem.

Runtime Error! I can't use IE?

If you have IE7, click on START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS. Remove Windows Internet Explorer 7, reboot.

If you have IE6, click on START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS, ADD REMOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS, and uninstall IE (Internet Explorer). Reboot. Go back and reinstall IE. You may need the original XP CD. Borrow one from a friend if you can.

I get this error everytime I try and use IE I can't use IE it wont launch runtime error! program:c:\program files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe this application has requested the runtime to...

you can try to re-install IE, go to control panel then open Add/Remove programs, on the left side of the Add/Remove programs applet click Add/Remove windows components, under Components look for internet explorer then uncheck it then click next, IE will now be uninstalled. Then reinstall it, just like previous process on Add/Remove windows components put a check on internet explorer then click next.

If this wont solve the problem, you can try a third party browser like firefox, download firefox on this site: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/, after downloading firefox just double-click it then just follow the installation.
