Question about AOC 193FW LCD Monitor
If you are getting a message that says something like "Check cables" " no signal detected" or something like that, it is likely that your monitor is operating correctly. I would suggest checking your cables, make sure that the computer is turned on, and if that doesn't help, check if your monitor has VGA, DVI, or HDMI inputs. I am thinking that your monitor may be trying to display from the wrong source. This is what a VGA (analog) cable looks like. VGA cables are typically blue.
Another common connection that is used is a digital HDMI (left) or DVI (right) connection. DVI cables often have white end connectors. How your PC connects to your monitor will determine the source mode you want to use on your monitor. (Obviously this is the cable view but the connection on the monitor itself will look similar.)
If none of these tips helps, I would suggest hooking the same monitor up to a different PC or laptop, and trying once again to get a the display working. Again, make sure that the connection matches the source setting on your monitor. If it works on another PC, then your computer may have a video problem.
Otherwise, if it still does not work your monitor have a problem displaying via that connection. If possible I would suggest switching to a different type of cable and re-try the above steps.
