If you are talking about a computer, your registration key should be on the computer tower or on the bottom of your laptop

The letter u key gives me the number 4, the i key gives me the number 5 the o gives me number 6, The last 3 to 4 letter keys gives me numbers


right first off im assuming this isn't a full size keyboard with the number pad on the right.

so when you have a laptop keyboard some characters share with others, in your case numb lock has been pressed and is replacing the letter u with 4

I believe the keyboard is no good. They are easy to replace and inexpensive at Amazon.com they have them there for under $40.00 make sure that caps are off it is more than likely a bad keyboard that happens. Which I'm sure you did already?

Im having a problem witjh my number lock. i dont know what button controls it? when i press a letter it just comes up with the numbers i have to hold down fn to get the letters to work. how can i make this...


There is a blue key usually you have to hit FN then that key maybe the f4??
another quick fix is to connect a regular keyboard to the laptop and simply hit the num lock key

you need to clean the reg. and reinstall it (you must restart the computer after every action) download CCleaner fo free from: http://www.ccleaner.com/ and it will clean the reg. for ryou as well as everything in your computer and it is safe and I use it all the time…let me know.

Keyboard question mark comes up with é or É


You have the number keypad so all the blue letters on the keyboard will type.

Its know as a hot key

How to turn it off.
bottem of the keyboard press "FN" hold it down
Then Press Scroll With (Lock Symbol)

It should solve the problem.. every keyboard is diffrent but im sure yours is the same as the one i am useing.

When I type letters, some of them turn to numbers


Numlock is turned on, press the FN button on lower left and look for the numlock key, you should see numbers 1-9 on the keys that you have been pressing, those buttons have numbers and the letters, just turn the numlock off, and they will be letters again.

Laptop key board problems.


Sounds like you have the number lock on. Press the Function key and Number Lock keys together to turn it off.

Ibm thibkpad keyboard problem


The imbedded numerical keypad is on; At the top row of keys, there is a key with numLk on it. Press the function key, and the NumLk key at the same time and see if that fixes the problem. Good luck harvester3
