There are a number of ways to raise the handlebar, depends on how old your Sirrus is.

The most common is too replace the stem with one that has a higher rise to it. Take your bike into your local bike shop and have them take a look at your set-up and they can offer specific options depending on how high you want to raise the bars.

NOTE: Depending how high you raise your handlebars you may need to replace your cables and housing to your controls. Also you may have handling issues if you raise the bars too high. If you are raising your bars because your uncomfortable or having pains in the neck or back you should consider getting a bike fitting to make sure you are properly mated to your bicycle.

How do i raise the handlebars on the gt 3.0

Most bicycles have adjustable handlebar risers. Just loosen the center riser bolt 4 or 5 turns (you may have to use a mallet or hammer to break loose the draw nut from the neck) then raise it up "no higher than the max line indicator". If you still need it higher search for an extended riser or more suitable handlebars.

you can't raise the stem on a Aheadset type stem/headset, they are not designed for it from the manufacturer.

How do i get the front forks of my specialized sirrus comp because i can not get them offr

Loosen all three bolts that hold the stem onto the bike, leave the bolts that hold the handelbar alone (there is no need to remove those). Take a small hammer and tap the top of the tube after you remove the stem. you may have to un-bolt the brakes before doing anything else. There is a compression collar that will resist any attempt to remove it downwards, slide it up to the top by hand and the fork will drop to the floor.

I need to heighten handlebars

In the center right below the handlebars is and allen head screw. You will need an allen wrench, loosen the screw by turning it counter clockwise. Lift-up on the handlebars and adjust to the desired height and re-tighten the hex screw. Be carefull not to raise up beyond the lower adjoining yoke line on the goose neck.

How to raise handlebars on 2011 crosstrail

You need an allen wrench. On the Top of the "gooseneck" there should be one allen bolt. This is right in the middle of the handle bars, above the tire. You can loosen it there move it up and tighten it back down.

How to raise the handlebars on a 20" Huffy Rock It

Usually there is a hex bolt or some kind of bolt in the handlebar stem.
Loosen the bolt 4-5-6 turns.
Bolt will move upward.
Then hit bolt down with wrench.
Handlebars should be loose.
Raise handlebars to position.
Hold bolt upward with fingers while tightening.

What is the weight (rider) capacity for a specialized sirrus

The rider that rated this bike weighs 16 stone. http://www.bikemagic.com/review/reviewProductReviews/mps/rpn/28573/prod/Specialized-Sirrus-Sport/rcn/103/rgn/1/sp//v/2 I'm from Canada and unfortunately don't know the conversion. I used to build Specialized bikes and I know they are well manufactured. I weigh 180 but for someone in the 210 range ,they should consider 36 to 40 spoke wheels. I hope this helps.
