Question about Microwave Ovens

Open Question

I have an ultimate blaster blender by Betty Crocker, & SUDDENLY it just doesnt work! I mean, the pieces do not fit, but they did about a month ago. I put the piece with the blade, then screwed the cup on; but it doesn't connect to the notches. Can you please give me instructions on how to assemble it? Thankyou. Very much appreciated. -Someone in need.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I like to know how

I would think this is addressed in your owner's manual.

If for some reason you don't have your owner's manual, I would suggest calling the dealer where you bought it to see if they have a number for Betty Crocker.

SOURCE: I purchased a G E

The problem may be that the base is not turned all the way into the cup due to damage of the threads or the wrong gasket or having more then one gasket. This would keep the tabs from aligning with the notches in the base. Try the other base and cup and if that doesn't work then the notches may be the problem. There may be some foreign object jammed in them
or they may damaged. Take a small screwdriver and see that the spring loaded ramps in the notches compress. GE's cusomer assistance number is 1-877-207-0923. These units have a 2 year warranty though I dont know about second owners.

I cannot determine from your description what part it is you exactly need.
This is a link to Sears Parts and you make and model
Look through the diagrams.
As for price and delivery... that's up to Sears
Good luck!

I picked up a used Betty Crocker Salad Express, model BC-1441, but it didn't have any instructions or food pusher with it. How can I get them?

Most major manufacturers supply manuals online so if you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, you may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, Dealer Network for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

My blender won't power on, the lights don't turn on. I've had the blender for 1 year and have never had any problems with it. In the past month it would only work intermittently, and now it doesn't work...

sometimes something (food etc) gets "stuck" in the lock mechanism, preventing it from turning. unplug the blender and give the locking mechanism a cleaning with a bottle brush or rinsing it under very hot water. also the lock could be broken/chipped, also preventing it from turning.

i must admit that I broke my locking mechanism 5 years ago by not "seating" it correctly and forcing it. my hubby somehow removed! the locking mechanism but now it goes on - turns - as soon as I plug my blender in (because the stop/lock doesn't exist anymore). so I must be very careful to always have the lid on before I plug it in. but it's a braun blender and I love it. so i've kept it all this time.

I recently got a Betty Crocker Breadmaker Model BC-1699 at an auction. It works with the exception that the Timer is always on and I can't go to Select but it goes ahead and makes the bread. I tried a lot...

Strange, that must be an old number or something, the correct number is 1-800-446-1898. It sounds like the timer has failed in this unit, I am surprised it still makes the bread properly. Please start with giving them a call and see what they say, it could even be under warranty, hard to say, even though you got it at an auction. Betty Crocker is very good with customer service and can probably help, but the unit is "broken" so to speak, it is nothing you are doing wrong.
Thanks Tim

Microwave doesnt power up, suddenly stopped working, can it be the fuse? ow do u check if the fuse is OK?

If there is no power at all then it could be the internal power fuse has blown, there could also be other parts faulty also. I would not recommend you to check this if you are not electricallly qualified as a microwave is a very dangerous piece of equipment to tamper with, even if there is no power to it. It would be best to call a service engineer to check it over for you.
