Question about Reizen Atomic Talking Clock

Open Question

I, too, cannot reset my mother's Reizen talking atomic clock to show the correct time for Daylight Saving Time. I reset the clock to the correct time, it "confirms" it and the hands move to the confirmed time, but overnight it readjusts itself to lose the hour I had advanced. I am in the Eastern Time Zone; if it were possible to set the clock to Atlantic Time, I would, which would allow for the extra hour, but the clock only has programming for Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific Time. If it is truly synchronized with a master clock somewhere in Colorado (which I believe the instruction manual had stated), why cannot the clock adjust itself to DST? My cell phones and computers had no problem, even with the earlier start date for DST this year. Help, please?

How do I reset time and date on SioScan Atomic Clock? I need Arizona time zone - i.e. no daylight savings time

Put it into settings and then adjust time/date. It's not related in any way to temperature.

I lost the instructions for the talking Reizen atomic clock and both of them are now an hour off. How do I reset the time?

You need to change the 'Zone' settings on both; the signal from Boulder, CO can't tell where you are, you have to make the correction locally and then they will track the signal accurately as long as they can receive it.

I have a Westclox, Calander Model 70026. I have set the clock several times to the correct time,(with the time zone at the proper setting) but, after a day or so, the hour reading, reverts back...

It's most likely because of Daylight Saving Time. Your clock receives a signal through the air once a day from the actual atomic clock, much like a cell phone receives the time from your cell phone service provider, and it automatically resets itself to the exact time each time it receives this signal. Remember that the middle of the year (the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November in the US) is Daylight Saving Time for much of the United States. The clock has an option that allows you to set whether you are observing Daylight Saving Time or not. If this is set to "off", the time will be one hour behind until Daylight Saving Time ends (November 7th). Make sure this is set properly, and your problem will be solved.

How do I set my skyscan atomic clock

You don't. Just make sure that the rear switches are set for the correct time zone, and that the DST switch is set to the ON position (unless you're in an area that does not use Daylight Saving Time). Make sure that your batteries are fresh, and situate the clock so that the front (or back) is facing roughly in the direction of Ft. Collins, Colorado. Give it a couple of hours to find and sync with the time signal, and it will set itself.

Oregon Scientific Model 323a--Atomic clock...the atomic clock keeps setting itself to one hour behind what time it actually is in my time zone...I mannually re-set the clock to the correct time...but when...

Make sure that the clock is set for the correct time zone and that the DST (Daylight Saving Time) function is ON. Also, although not mentioned in the manuals, these clocks will typically jump and hour ahead or behind when the batteries get weak. Replace your batteries if they are more than a year old.

Atomic clock

There is a setting on the clock to turn on "DST"- daylight savings time feature. You have to push the set button on the back of the clock repeatedly until you see "DST" blinking. You should also see "OFF" blinking at that point indicating that the feature if turned off. If you now push "+" button on the back of the clock once it should show "ON" blinking instead of "OFF". Hope this helps.
