Dear Sirs,

I thought you were offering a free service from the dealer. If I have to pay, I would rather go to the dealer.

Thanks,

Olympux sp600uz flash does not work

You mean, you see the flash logo on the screen, indicating the flash is charged, and then the flash does not fire at all?
Or does the flash logo not appear on the screen?
If the flash does not charge, this could be, because the batteries are low. Or when it takes a very long time before the logo comes on, same reason.
If your camera is on automatic and you did not select flash off, the flash should charge, when you pop it up. The logo on the screen should come on, and when not enough light is available, the flash should fire when you press the button.
Everything in the camera can go defective, but the flash on your camera is made, to last at least as long as the rest of the camera. So make sure you are doing everything correct (like in the manual) before you think the flash is defect.
The manual is still online.

Digital Camera HP Photosmart M517 Want to take a picture of my computer screen to send by email. Flash goes off every time and leaves a bright white light that obscures the screen. Can I disable the flash...

Press the flash button (just under the viewfinder) to cycle through the flash settings. Your choices are Auto Flash, Auto Flash with Red-eye Reduction, Flash On, Flash Off, and Night.

If you want to capture the screen image, you're better off using the computer operating system's screen-capture capability. This will give you the screen exactly as it is, without the distortions inherent in converting to an analog image and then converting it back to a digital image.

Manual light & exposure settings

if you are using flash lights on the art work, please follow the following steps
  1. turn off your flash in cam since it bypasses the external flash and makes the picture look different.
  2. turn your light settings to either automatic or "flash light or arc light".but do not set them to incandescent light!!!
  3. turn your macro to on status if you are going to take a close up shots, but please note that close up shots work great in natural sunlight than at flash lights...

Flash - Why won't it turn on?

Do some of the following things.
Reset the internal menu settings, then reset all the options you want your way.

Make sure the flash is on in the picture taking option you choose.
When you have enough light, the flash usually will not go on, and if it is on the amount of light can force the flash off...'

Turning off flash

here is the link for the user manual if you need it; http://www.sony.co.uk/support/ShowSupportProductManuals.action?supportProductModelName=DSC-S40&targetTab=download&site=odw_en_GB§iontype=Support towards the bottom left of page 2 is all the info you need i think. If for any reason this doesn't work then post again for a fix, in emergency you can stick a few pieces of black pvc electrical tape over the flash - any glue left afterwards will come off with cotton wool and a little cleaning alcohol/rubbing alcohol (dont saturate it). Hope this helps :)

the color depends on the light, therefore it could be possible to happen if u use diferent kinds of ilumination. that isnĀ“t a problem is just the camera limits.

MVC-FD71 Question

I do not know of the picture perfect mode. In neg art mode the image will appear as a negative on the screen. If you open it to an image editing application with an invert image command in it, you will actually see what you would have seen had it been shot in normal mode. You can print it either way. If it looks like a neg on your screen then it will look like that on your print.
