You wouldn' see it in .msc. It's a program, like any other, in Add/Remove Programs, running is your System Tray

Spooler not running. Cannot delete last print job. Won't let me print other jobs.

Which OS you are running? If windows xp and upwards: Print spooling service might have been disabled (or not enabled yet) Solution: Start -> Run In the box type services.msc and hit enter Scroll until you see print spooler. Check whether it has been disabled. Enable it. Start the service (you must have administrative privilege) If its not the case: Start -> Run Type Eventvwr.msc and hit enter Check System for errors (system) related to spooler service. Check Application for application related errors. If you see some please list here. So we can proceed from their.
Please rate the answer and a testimonial (comment) if the solution helped you to solve the problem... Thanks for contacting Fixya

Installation problem

This printer is compatible with Vista. Try stopping and restarting the Spooler service. Follow the following steps to do this:

1. Click on Start, in the Search box, type services.msc
2. Click on Services.msc in the pane
3. Locate "Print Spooler" service
4. Right Click on the service and click on "Stop" if the service is started and click on "Start" if the service is stopped.
5. If the service was started, right click on it again and this time click on "Start"

If this does not solve the problem, you can visit the following link:

The device software is also available at the following link. If nothing works, you can try downloading and installing this software.

On my computor running vista i keep getting the following error microsoft volume shadow copy service has stopped working and was closed. any ideas how i can fix this regards mike

disable the service,

hold down windows key and press r

type in services.msc

then from the services list find Microsoft Software Shadow copy Provider - thats the one i beleave.

Right click, properties, startup type, disabled. then stop the service.

You shouldnt get any more errors and the service is not required so everything should work normally.
