If it is oil fired furnace I would change the nosel and filter and make sure the electrodes are set right.

Furnace will not ignite. Inducer motor and blower motor kick on at the same time. Safety switches have been checked. Circuit board and igniter assembly is good.

what brand furnace is it? is there any blinking light on the control board? is the tube going to the pressure switch blocked? there should be a tube going from the pressureswitch to the inducer motor housing take it loose from the inducer and check for obstruction there, dont blow back into the switch.

Furnace wont ignite

check all safety switches located at burners and draft hood its a little round disc with a button that can be pressed to reset it.if there is an inducer motor check to see if the pressure switch is being pulled in it might be weak or you might have a clogged chimney.

Gas Furnace trouble

the thermostat sends a signal to the circuit board. Not knowing anymore than I do about your heater or furnace I would suggest that that is a good place to start. Any limit or safety switch wouldnt coincidentally shut off the heater when it reached the set temp.

Furnace won't kick in when thermosat is turned up. Was able to get furnace going by jumping wire on control valve , but it has kicked out in the middle of the night. Had a tech over to look at it and he...

If this is a High Eff. Furnace, sounds like the pressure switch is holding furnace out. Check to make sure Intake vent is not plugged. Make sure
that the exhaust vent is not getting backpressure from
windy outdorr conditions.

Furnace not cycling properly.

you might want to check the filter, if the filter is restricting the airflow the furnace will over heat and it will shut down. if you turn it off and on it will reset it and it will try again. Pull the filter out half way and try that, if it runs fine then clean the filter or get a less restrictive one.
