Web page is not available

Step 1:
Online or Offline ??
It is occasionally necessary to access Web pages when an Internet connection is not available. This could be during research projects or during air travel. It is possible to view these files by saving a copy of the page on your computer so that it can be accessed offline. Most Internet browsers have a way to make Web pages available to be viewed when offline.

Add the website to your favorites. On the open Web page, open the "Favorites" menu and click "Add to Favorites." Click the "Make Available Offline" check box. To select how much content to download and specify a schedule for periodically updating the page click "Customize" and follow the instructions. Click "OK" to save the page to your hard drive so it can be viewed when offline. Firefox Browse to the Web page you would like to be able to view offline. Click on "File" on the menu bar. Select the "Save Page As" option. In the "Save As Type" bar, select "Web Page, Complete" to make sure that the entire Web page and contents are saved. Select the save location for the webpage. If you do not wan to save the Web page to the default location of the desktop then browse and select a suitable save location on your hard drive. Click "Save". The website will now be able to be viewed in Firefox offline, when you open it from the folder you saved it in. Safari Navigate to the page you wish to view offline. Open the "File" menu in the toolbar. Select "Save As" from the menu. Select the directory that you would like to save the Web page to. In the "Format" box select "Web Archive. " Click "Save." The Web page is now accessible offline, from the saved directory folder and will be opened in Safari.

How to print from the internet to my computer in google chrome win7

You can save web pages from Google Chrome to your computer, just as you can print pages on a printer.

To save web pages in HTML format: Click on the wrench icon in the Chrome menu bar (upper right corner), pull down the menu and select "Save page as". (Or alternatively, right-click on page and select "Save page as"; or use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + S"). Then proceed to save the page as "webpage complete" (which will include images), or as "HTML only" (which will include text but not images).

To save web pages as PDF files: Click on the wrench icon, pull down the menu and select "Print". (Or alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + P"). Then on the print page, pull down the "Destination" menu, select "Print to PDF", then click the "Print" button. You can then save the page as a PDF file.

Welcome to FixYa! How to Save Web Pages in Safari: 1. Go to your desired website or webpage. 2. Click file then Save As 161805.image1.jpg 3. in the Save As text field, type a name you'll recognize for that specific website for the saved page. 4. A Where Pop-up menu will come out on the screen, this will allow you to choose where you want to save your file. 161807.image3.jpg 5. Select the Format Pop-up menu, to choose the format for the saved page. I suggest choose Web Archive, which saves the entire page and can be displayed just as you see it. 161809.image5.jpg 6. Click save to begin the download process. After you have saved the file, you can double-click on it to load it on Safari.

If you want to save an .flv from a web page, you can use IDM, and if you want to save a .swf file you can save the page as complete .htm file and then open the web_page_name_files folder in Microsoft Windows.

Saving a web page into a lexar jump drive.

To save a web page in Internet Explorer, go to that page and click File, then "Save As." In the box that pops up, use the My Computer link on the left to navigate to where your jump drive is, or click the down arrow next to the current folder at the top of the box. Once you've gotten to your jump drive and selected it, click the drop down box next to "Save as type" at the bottom of the box and choose "Webpage, complete." Then click Save.

To save a web page in Firefox, go to the page you want to save, and under the File menu, choose "Save Page As." When the dialog box comes up, click My Computer on the left, or click the arrow at the top next to the current folder, and navigate to your jump drive. "Web page, complete" should be the default selection for "Save as type" -- if it's not, select it from the drop down box. Then click Save.

Web pages typically save as many files within a folder, so if you accidentally delete or move any of those files, reloading the web page might not work.

I need to download and save a website

You can save each page, but you can't download the entire site unless you have access to it as a manager or web designer. Save a page--then follow the link and save that page, follow the next link and so on until you are finished.

Saving Web page...

When you are at a page you wish to save, go to File/Save As. While saving, make sure that the "Save As Type" has Web Page, Complete selected. It will save an html file, but it will also save all of the other files in a folder in the same directory with the same name as the html file. Note that anything with the prefix https:// cannot be saved.
