Computer will connect to tv useing push2tv but the only picture it will show is my destop screen and nothing else

I'm not sure there is a problem. Intel WiDi is suppose to send what ever is displayed on your desktop to your TV. Is there a difference between what is shown on your TV and laptop's screen? It could also be that your laptop is set for extended display and the TV is set to the secondary display. Right-click on the desktop and select the Screen Resolution setting. If it is set to Extend then drag a window from your desktop to the right and it should show on your TV.

Anyone know the TV setting to switch to for viewing the netgear. My tv is a 65 inch panasonic. Thanks.

Jim,
It depends how you connected the Netgear Push2TV adapter to your TV. The best way is to connect using an HDMI cable. Pay careful attention to which HDMI input you use in the Panasonic TV. Then using the remote control for your TV switch to that input. Usually there is a button label "Input" or "source". Make sure the Netgear Push2TV adapter is turned on and when you are switching among the various inputs you will see the Welcome screen on one that corresponds to the Netgear Push2TV adapter.

Sounds like you have a firewall problem either with the Windows 7 built-in firewall or an anti-virus application firewall. Do you have an Anti Virus program installed?
