Not sure which stylus fits my sl-2500 cartridge

The proper stylus is the best you can afford. However the cartridge itself will only take certain types. To find which simply enter the cartridge make and model number into Google and see what comes up.
Actually most hi-fi buffs say it's the cartridge and stylus combined that gives the best sound, since many cartridges fit only one stylus it's often the cartridge that is the real choice. Most turntables will take a wide range of cartridges, so you pay your money and take your pick.

Need a needle for a TECHNIC SL-3350

It's 'TechnicS' and 'stylus'. Wouldn't a web search have been faster?

"TECHNIC SL-3350 stylus"

But even 'technic" and 'needle' would have worked.

Hi. I'm have a problem with my Technics SL-BD20 turn table I've just purchased. When putting the arm onto the LP it just skips over the surface to the middle. Why does it do that? Cheers.

Try adjusting the tone arm weight so that the arm will be slightly heavier.

If this does not help, see if the tone arm manual lift handle is operational and fully released when the arm sits on the record.

Another possible cause are the tone arm position sensors inside the unit.

Hope you can fix it.

Turntable turns, but there's no sound.

Well, the motor itself is completely separate from the sound. The path of the sound is basically

Styli -> Cartridge -> Tonearm -> RCA Cables -> Input Source

I would say start from the beginning. Check your stylus. If it's ok, then that means your Cartridge is probably ok. Make sure you have a secure connection from the tonearm to the cartridge assembly.

There really isn't much else to it.

If you cannot get it to work, I would suggest taking it to a service center for assistance.

How to connect turntable Technics SL BD20 to marantz SR7000 amp

Most recievers should have Phono Jacks labled on the back. That is where my Turntable an (MCS made by Technics but was sold under the J. C. Penneys name) connects on my JVC. I have 2 JVC 's One is old (1972) and one is new. Both of them have Phono jacks. Phono stands for Phonograph. This is an old term for turntables. The jacks should accept RCA patch cords. Good luck.
