If you have the CD's that came with your pc ( it may say Application) run the cd and reinstall the sound drivers. if you do not have the cd, go to the pc maufacture website and download the drivers. If you cant find it there go my website and I can remote in and reinstall the drivers

We cant find the right cords or hookups to our speakers and how do they hook up to your tv

Speakers don't hook directly to a TV unless your TV is unique and has its own amplifiers (not likely). Speakers are driven by amps, amps are usually inside a receiver and IT would connect to your TV to receive sound program. However, the TV usually has serious audio limitations (or we wouldn't need receivers and after-market speakers, right?) so why not get the audio IT monitors from the source itself and conenct it directly to the controlling receiver, which specializes in audio?

I dont' have the fix but I do have a work around. You can hook your source directly up to a surround sound unit if you have one using red and white audio cables to the aux input on the surround sound system.

I need to hook speakers up to my Dell B110 computer.

2 things are needed to get sound from your speakers:

1-wiring connecting your speakers to a socket to the back of the computer. (The spot they need to plug in to ON YOUR COMPUTER is a small light green circular socket. The other end of the plug you plug in here should run to one of your speakers *usually the right side speaker-the right speaker should then have separate wiring to connect the left speaker.)

2- A source of power.
Some speakers use their own power source and plug in to a power outlet - your wall. Other types have a USB type plug and plug into a USB port in your computer and that is how THOSE get their power.

Those are the basics of sound setup. Some computers are equipped with more complicated setups such as surround sound, subwoofers, digital and more. Reply if you need more help, I will try to assist you further.

Hope this helps.

Im hooking up a pioner dc deck i have power but cant get any of the speakers working dose it have like a factoy amp or something that need to be hooked up to use the speakers?

the speakers have a neg/positive wire make sure you hooked them up right easiest thing to do is hook up the power and start with two speaker wires once you have sound coming from a speaker label them with masking tape .

I can not get a sound

Are you sure it's plugged into the right jack? Most computers have two green audio jacks in the back. One for speakers and one for a headset. If you plug it into the headset jack it won't work. Try the other jack maybe? If that doesn't work then try them with another computer. Find out if it's the computer or the speakers. If it's the computer then you might need a driver for it or just a new sound card.

Speakers are hooked up, cant listen to anything.

ok the first thing u have to check in ur windows xp desktop that the volume icon is diplaying in the bar below the screen .if not than go to controlpanel --> sound and audio devices --> place volume icon in the taskbar check this option and the volume icon will be avaliable on ur desktop.remember this option is only avaliable if the drivers is installed . than u can double click this icon and set the equilizer. if ur sound not installed than u have to install it from the motherboard cd that is provided by the manufacturer. thankx and take care of urself.

Cannot get all speakers to work at once!!

It could be that every sound has its recording style, some record the sound to just left or right only(mono left or mono right) some has stereo, recorded on left and right. Some have induced additional sound that only surround sound is best at.

Or some base on signal strength, some cut or boost only to the level it is set to appear.

Sounds like the woofer cones are blown, no fix for that except to replace them.

You did the right thing disconnecting one at a time. Are both speakers doing that? It is a little strange that both would go out at the same time, but stranger things have happened.

If you have an extra speaker laying around someplace that you know is good (even a home stereo speaker), try disconnecting both speakers and connect the one good one to see if it sounds OK. If it sounds good or at least normal, you have some bad speakers. If the one speaker still sounds bad, you have a problem with the speaker wiring someplace. You might even need to run new wires just to rule them out as a problem.

If the problem is not the speakers, then this is a very strange problem indeed!
Good luck and I hope this helps you. If you need more help just reply back after you checked them out a little more.

Speakers dropping out & engine sounds

sounds like your amp is bad

remove the amp and hook your speakers directly to the radio if the problem stops
then the amp might be messed up

if you got another radio try the amp with that radio to "double" check that it is the amp

if the problem is still there with the speakers hooked to the radio then you need to fix or get another radio
