Sorry there are NO fuses etc, that can help this condition. This is an internal electronic fault.

This is a classic switchmode power supply problem. The protection circuitry inside the SMPSU, has sensed a severe potential problem, and is attempting the shutting of the set, down to avoid a fire, explosion, or both. T

This set had developed a problem, that is so severe that the set must be shut down, (This set should be removed from the Power),

What is happening is the internal "Fault" that is causing the Protection Circuitry , to detect the problem and attempt to shut down the set, keeps restarting the set, because as soon as it shuts down, the "Faulty" component(s) cool down?, and the "Fault" ostensibly "Clears" so the PSU starts up again, only for the component(s) to heat up, whatever, again and fail, so it shuts down, and if left unattended, this would continue on until the part eventually failed. Any fault that involves the power supply is usually quite serious, and needs a professional, usually, unless one is familiar with servicing current day, televisions.

And in my professional recommendation, you should get a "Quote" for repair, from, an, Approved Service Center. Now, this point is very important for a good result, Always contact, their "Local" or a, "Head Office" MXT in your case. Ask them, for a referral to an authorised servicing center, where you ask for a "Quote". Now, when you get the information you want, then you can decide as to repair of replacement.

The reason we want an approved agent, is that way, all the engineers are trained on their own brand sets, they have seen almost all faults, and will get the job done quicker, and for less cost, and usually have parts on hand, also sometimes, there has been a service bulletin in issued and the repair may be subsided or even free. There are many, many, many reasons that display this symptom, one must work through the troubleshooting steps to isolate and identify, the Cause and repair that and any damage done.

MXT LCD1501D without remote

Not sure if this is helpful at all, but according to this youtube video, this unit never had a remote. It uses a 9-pin game controller. Not sure if this is only for playing games, or if it's used for programming the unit as well.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crqMoog_Eiw&feature=youtu.be&t=44s

Looking at a closeup of the control buttons at the 36 second mark of the video, there does not appear to be any button that can be used as an "ok" button.

The back of the unit has a number of audio/video outputs, and 2 game ports.

The type of disk you put in the unit should determine whether it is recognized as a DVD or as a game disk.

As the author of the youtube video mentions, these were very inexpensive units (he got his for $30).

You may want to consider getting a major brand DVD player that includes a remote like the Sony DVP-SR210P which can be found on eBay for under $30, as well.

The input dvd screen says no signal and the DVD player doesn't seem to have any power.

If it is in warranty return it---parts for the DVD unit are not available--they would have to replace the entire DVD unit inside the set.

Aux appears on screen and has frozen the set. I have tried to reprogram and cannot do that. I have tried to get the menu options and the only thing that appears is the sound level, nothing else works.

unplugging the tv and plugging it back in seems to work for us, but i dont know how to get it back on aux. there has to be a simple combination of buttons to get to aux.
