Have a Campbell Hausfeld 6 HP 60 Gallon compressor, Model Number VT619501AJ, and the pressure switch will not engage the compressor motor at the minimum pressure setting. How can I fix this?

try turning the switch off for 5 minutes the turn it back on there is usually a circuit breaker or thermal overload that can trip let me know if problem still exists

Friend had some pressure regulators and one of them fit. It is also a step up from a direct replacement OEM part. Thank you for your responce to my question.

I am not a master electrician but I was an apprentice for 5 years and think you should be ok with a 30 amp breaker. anything less and you may be resetting the breaker when the unit first turns on. Dont forget 30 amp breakers will require # 10 wire or larger, #12 just wont do.
