Just remove and attach the hard disk. Change your memory module as the speed of your memory module doesn't fit to your motherboard.

Trying to reboot my PC

There is some posibilities that generate that error, this is some of them :
1. Your Hardisk error, your bootable psrtition is corrupt or something, can be caused by not properly shutdown, repair OS with CD recovery may help you.
2. Your hardisk is fine, but you attached new non bootable hardisk, if yes, you may need to change boot order on bios.
3. You attached USB FLASHDISK, or USB Hardisk, try to remove that and rebot your komputer.

This message comes up after I turn on my laptop and it is trying to start up "no bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key" How can I fix this problem? Thanks.

the hardisk cannot be detected. On system bios... press"del" to enter bios,(on other computer its "F2") ..on the BOOT tab check who is the first booting device. set hardisk (ide) as your first booting device by pressing"+" sign. On the bios you can also check if hardisk is detected, if not then your hardisk crashed.. need to replace it.

ThinkPad Blue Screen of Death

Sometimes the blue screen can be caused by bad memory, but if it is doing it right when you try to sign in every time, it is probably a software corruption in windows. I have solved this problem by doing a repair install of windows xp, I am not sure if is an option on other os, if you google it you will find directions, you boot off the windows install disk and this option saves your programs and data.

This is your computer emmory related issue.
RAm emory or harddisk.
If you have desk top rewfix RAM memory then boot your computer with winxp recovery or bootable disk.
For that when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" key for enter in bios then go to boot optiojn and set frist boot device as your cd or dvd rom then save and exit from bios.
Then put that disk in rom then it boot with it.
Then follow the procedure then enter in recovery console mode then type in prompt "chkdsk /r"

Then check then if stillsame issue then choose repair option and repair your os.

i have this problem before, actually there are many causing blue screen. it might be the memory, hardisk, and the corruption of windows files etc. for you check first your hardisk if detected in your bios setup. if hardisk detected run safemode. then repair your windows.
