that means your ref.is not functioning,simple just show to the doctor of refrigeration or technician and he will tell you the exact problem hehe okey.so many cause maybe not functioning hermetic compressor,no freon gas cause of leak,or the wiring is cut by rat..

Well, i have to jump right in here and agree with you. I have been working on appliances since 1971 and GE is the most frustrating, highest priced replacement parts ( for the most part ) of all brands. Of all the brands, Whirlpool and Maytag have been the longest lasting, best priced and easiest to work on. I truly feel sorry for you....really.

the return air ducts are freezing up, unplug unit and use a hairdryer to defrost the entire freezer compartment
this will take a couple of hours to completely thaw the ducts
the ducts are behind the rear panel in the bottom

Clear the bottom of the refrigerator so you can get
at the drain. then get a turkey baster and fill it with hot water. Insert it in
the drain in the bottom and squeeze it cleaning the drain. Several applications
will solve the problem, and do not forget the refrigerator side as well.
