Can't install drivers for GeForce GT 430. "Graphics Adapter Not Found."

I am assuming that your PC is working alright connected to the onboard graphics port.
Make sure any supplementary power connectors to your video card are in place, and the card is firmly inserted into the PCIE slot.
If you try these two items with no results, you might try installing the card in a known working PC. It could be a problem with the card itself.

You certainly have alot of options for graphics. If this was a one shot deal, maybe you don't have t worry about it. I would probably update my graphics drivers. Are you using on board graphics? If not, I would disable them. I don't believe this has anything to do with your GPU. If you would like to update your graphics driver you can do that here:

It looks like you have your TV set as your primary display, you will need to open up control panel to change this. I'm assuming you're using Windows 7 (the process should be similar for Vista and XP).
Open control panel > Appearance and Personalisation > Display, and choose the "Change display settings".
There should be a button that says "Detect" or "Detect Displays". Click this button. You should see something like this:
http://dl.maximumpc.com/galleries/dualmonitors/Win7_ScreenRes.png
Click the icon which corresponds to the monitor that you want to make you primary display (the boxes numbered 1 and 2 represent your two displays). Since you have yours the wrong way round, you should click box 2. If any check boxes come up saying "do you want to make this monitor your primary display, say yes. You should then have your monitors the right way round.

If you had a graphics card prior to this one make sure all software from previous card is uninstalled. If you installed your card correctly, it should come up normally then, you can run your installation cd. If it is not coming up properly, see if you can start in "safe mode", go to "device manager", click on the box next to "sound , video, and game controllers", then click on your card and in the list make sure you see "disable". If you see "enable" click on that and exit, then restart. You should now be able to run your cd. If you had prior software and didn't uninstall before the install of new software, you may have to start over. After your original install from cd you can get all prior updates from Nvidia

Hello there. So you want to use 2 monitors at the same time? Well this is simple enough. Ok go into windows and right click your desktop. Go down to screen resolution. There is a dropdown there that will allow you to extend your display to 2 monitors. Select your desired mode from here and click apply. You should be good to go.

Have a Dell 531 Inspiron 4400+ Desktop with a Nvidia GEForce 6150SE. Would like to upgrade graphics card???

hello, according to wiki your Dell 531 is same as 530 except for the nvidia chipset.
ATI Radeon HD 4670 is recommended for this system without adding too much of extra burdun on the power supply.
rest also depends on how much are you looking to invest in a graphic card. below is link for newegg's graphic section:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=40000048&Description=pci%20express%20video%20card&name=Desktop%20Graphics%20%2f%20Video%20Cards

after you have the card follow this sequence(unless ofcourse you know excatly what to do)
1 go in BIOS and change graphic card priority from onboard first to PCI express.
2. turn off system install the new card, switch the vga/dvi cable to the new card and startup the system.
3. upgrade drivers with provided cd.

let me know if you have any questions.
good luck

When you install a new video card you must disable the onboard video card by going into the bios setup. Below I have listed the requirements of Second life game. e 531 does come with PCI-E slots so make sure you buy a VIDEO card with PCI-E Walmart sells some pretty decent priced Graphics cards. pretty much any pci-e card you buy new in walmart these days will be fine for this game.

PC Minimum System Recommendations:

* Internet Connection*: Cable or DSL

* Computer Processor: 1.6GHz Pentium 4 or Athlon 2000+ or better

* Computer Memory: 512MB or better

* Video/Graphics Card**:
o nVidia GeForce FX 5600, GeForce 6600, or better
o OR ATI Radeon 9600, X600, or better
