The ratings are normally stamped into the end caps of the fuse. Sometimes they are a bit hard to see. Make sure you repair the cuase of the failure before replacing.

What is the input and output amperage of 15G fender guitar amp.trandformer?

Transformers change the voltage and not the amperage. The input would be 110-120 volts. The output voltage would be stamped on the transformer or the circuit board where the transformer is mounted. It either steps it up or down. Make sure to disconnect it before investigating. Good luck!

Model Yamaha ME-50 no power

John
With AC power off.
Use a meter (on Ohms scale) to check internal fuse for blown (open) fuse.
If you feel qualified & safe with AC Power On.
Check input to internal power supply on AC Scale (Caution when AC is on) for volts in.
Use meter on internal Power Supply for "probably" DC volts leaving internal Power Supply electronics to power the rest of the electronic circuits.
Switch mode power supplies can break down. They stop doing their high frequency switching so they don't convert AC to DC.
If this P/Sup is a separate box or circuit board, inside the unit, then it can have a part number & be replaced.
Good Luck

Wont turn on. even with new battery

Presence of the inout guitar cable enables the unit to turn on. If the cable is present, and it won't turn on, the problem is likely internal. Cracked circuit boards and broken solder joints, especially at connectors are common.

Elation DP-DMX20L will not power up. Not sure if it is the internal fuse or if it is something else. Please help.

There usually are no internal fuses in these. Open the unit watching out for buttons that may fall out of the cover. OFTEN the problem will be visible like a loose wire/broken solder. If the logic circuits are working and the display is lit, often the problem is blown Triacs that control the output receptacles. These are usually 600 volt, 16 amp Triacs.

The fuse blew, can't read what the ampage is

This doesn't compute as there is no fuse external to the unit and it runs off a 12 volt wall wart supply. The supply is 500ma or more. Any INTERNAL fuse would probably be rated at that or slightly higher like 650 ma or even 3/4 amp. If the internal fuse blew it was for a reason... using wrong adapter probably would do it... Other than that take it to a competent repair shop as the fuse will probably blow instantly again. This appears to take 12 to 20 volt 500 ma minimum wall adapter with CENTER positive, unlike many devices. If you put wrong polarity adapter that would probably blow the fuse and MAYBE another component.

Check for burned components, broken wires or cracked insulation on wires. Inspect the tube sockets and circuit boards for carbon tracks. Next, check the power supply rectifiers for shorts.

If you don't find anything, pull out all of the tubes (be sure to document where each tube goes!) and see if the fuses still blow. If they don't, one of the tubes has an internal short. (If the fuses blew only after warm-up, it would be an overload on a tube rather than a short through the tube.)

If this was a solid-state amplifier, I'd suggest checking the audio output driver transistors - this is the most common fuse-blowing failure in those.

Fuse blew out on my american audio after my girlfriend tripped on the chords, how do i repair it . is there a fuse or a reset button thank you

You are saying the fuse blew out and then asking if there is a fuse??? That makes no sense...

Tripping on cords could do certain things but NOT likely to blow a fuse.

Tripping on cords OFTEN breaks the plugs on the cords or the jacks in the equipment. The power input jacks from those wall transformer power supplies seem to be very vulnerable to this. They often disintegrate OR break loose from the solder on the circuit boards rendering the unit inoperable.

In future, loop the cords through handles so they don't yank the jacks if somebody yanks the cord.

How do I replace a fuse on a Marshall DFX 100, where is it located?

The fuse would be internal. The fuse blew for a reason, and unless you had an accident with the amp such as shorting a speaker lead, there is likely internal damage requiring servicing. Replacing the fuse without curing the original reason it blew will likely cause damage to further components.

Take the unit in for repair.

I have an Epiphone Blues Custom 30 amp. I have had it about 2 months - purchased used. I have probably played it about 10 hours total. This morning, I turned it on and it played for about one minute then...

There may be an internal fuse, but the unit will need to be serviced by an electronics shop.

If no odor or burning smell happened, then I suspect a bad solder joint or cracked circuit board. Look the board over with a very bright light.

LOOK for a dark circle around pins of HEAVEY components in the solder menicus for all the pins of the heavy components.

Look for board cracks with a small LED flashlight shined through the board.

Convert a Behringer BCF2000 to run on batteries?

The basic unit requires 10 watts at line voltage. Modifying the unit internally would be a disaster. You are better off using an invertor to drive it.

The internal supply will be a switching type and probably generate +/- 15 volts and +5 volts.
