Question about Washing Machines
The pump has a blockage that is stopping the impellor from spinning, hence the hum and not emptying. You need to gain access to the pump and remove the item, usually I find hair ties or plastic lolly sticks have worked their way in there.
Different types of machine require different methods to do this, so provide the make/model and further help may be provided.
