Question about Ovens
Can you hear gas coming in when you turn the know to "ligth" if not the you may have either a bad gas valve or the safety feature has detected something wrong, and has shut the gas off to the oven. first determine if you do indeed have gas., how does the oven light, is it pilot lit, or does it have a glow plug, if its pilot lit, make sure the pilot is running. if its a glow plug, you should be able to see it glow when you turn the oven on, if its not glowing it has to be replaced (or maybe the wiring has gone bad). either way that's where to start.
